  • This macrame snowflake is very easy to make, no wooden rings are needed. I use 4mm single twisted macrame cord, you can use 3mm size, three-strand twisted cord is fine too. Even braided rope will work if the ends can be unbraided with a thick needle (check this before start weaving). Total consumption 13 meters (43 ft.) for my type of cord (if you use a different cord, consumption may vary). At the end of the video, I use a hair spray to fix the position of the threads.

    Thanks for the video! Although it was too much rope/string wasted. Shorter pieces (~45 cm) will do fine.

      You are right, I wanted the dimensions to fit any rope (e.g. 5mm rope)

      Hello! Thanks! The size of the snowflake depends on the thickness of your cord, I got a diameter of about 10 cm

      Bonjour! Je commande une corde dans mon pays, en Russie (walls-shop.ru/product-category/materials/), c'est trop loin pour vous, la livraison sera chère. Recherchez la corde dans les magasins en ligne locaux, sur Instagram, sur Etsy. Pour le flocon de neige, j'ai utilisé une ficelle simple torsadée de 4 mm, teinte en gris clair.

      Depends on the thickness of your rope. I wanted the dimensions to fit any rope (e.g. 5mm braided rope)

    Неужели нужны такие длинные нити?! Половина срезается в готовом изделии😮
    Вероятно можно обойтись и 40 см или 35?
    Такая расточительность(((
