Super Typhoon

The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA), in its 8 p.m. bulletin, reported that STY Pepito is forecast to move generally west-northwestward.
PAGASA said the center of the eye of STY Pepito was estimated at 70 km east-northeast of Virac, Catanduanes. It is moving northwestward with maximum sustained winds of 195 km/h near the center and gustiness of up to 240 km/h.
