Re: TV units, while closed doors theoretically look cleaner, you prbably can't actually use them with the doors closed. If you have various media players, game consoles, your hifi setup or whatever, you want ventilation and access for wired or wireless controllers. So open doors probably end up looking messier than just open shelves.
I have one of those black wire "coffee tables", though not exactly a style Ikea currently sells. I use it as a side table. I LOVE it. It is placed between a chair and the sofa. The size is perfect, and it is well proportioned. It looks airy, and the black adds interest to the rest of the room which emphasizes light wood. It is easy to clean with the Swiffer. I would not use it with the canvas liner I see on some versions or store anything in it, but this table's a keeper!
I agree completely about the pendant lamps. The two that you would never buy or recommend look like huge beetles dangling over tables where people eat! If I went to a home for dinner and saw one of those over the table, I would stand up and hit it with my shoe!

Lol, not everyone has a “sleek” design aesthetic. Some of the more traditional looks would be totally appropriate in a cottage style home. That’s what’s great about Ikea - choice.

Hello. Thank you for the videos . What about the Morabo sofa in brown gold leather ? I just bought it and would also buy a besta unit in oak frame and grey beige doors and a Tversted rug . The flooring is in dark brown ( but I do not want to change it ) and the walls are in beige green color . And cotton curtains on white .

But yes, I have a few suggestions for you First, for a bedroom with low ceilings, I would go for the HÖLJES Pendant lamp or if the ceilings are even lower the NYMÅNE LED ceiling lamp. For a normal ceiling, I would go for something like the VINDÖGA Pendant lamp or a more budget option that also looks amazing the RISBYN Pendant lamp shade. For a dresser, I would definitely go for the MALM dresser, preferably in oak veneer, or with the NORDLI dresser. I especially like the anthracite one. Hope I helped 🥰
