Update to Story 4.....he missed the birth and they broke up. OP had mom and others to help her. Bany girl born 12/20.
So baby came when he went to see mommy. I bet he blamed her, you made the baby came faster. 😂

Story 3: I hate the phrase "help around the house". No, you need to do your part, you live here too.
It's funny how in story 8 the guy says "he's not one of those a-holes that disregards their partner" and then proceeds to do exactly that. 🙄🤚🏾

In story number three where the wife has asked her husband who goes out to work to help her do things around the house. What he fails to realize is he works an 8 to 10 to maybe 12 hour a day job where she works a 24 hour a day job, she doesn’t get brakes with her being the primary caregiver of the children the first person they go to when they need something is her.

re story 1: Our wedding photographer was a family friend. we were his last wedding (he had already decided he didn't like doing weddings, but when my Dad asked him, he said "of course!") We absolutely still paid him, and he told my dad he was glad we were his last wedding, because we were really easy/laid back and fun to work with. I love my wedding photos, and have such respect for how much work he did, and am so grateful we got to work with someone we knew. I can't even imagine ASSUMING this person is just going to "gift" you something that can cost thousands of dollars depending on what all you're doing and how many photos you end up having them take for the final album, not to mention the time and energy involved! good grief.
Comment pertains to story 5: There have been numerous studies on the changes in empathy caused by increased income. From a scientific standpoint, the more money you have, the less empathetic towards other people you become. It could be a case like that, or he could just have a general lack of empathy. It could also be that "I finally have a son" mentality that some men have because the son can carry on the family line and do the "manly" things. He just seems like a jerk either way.
Story 8: said it wasn't a big deal but did he give her the money? So he profited off her recipe for self not thinking about his wife. My Family has a recipe like that but one step is verbal not written so we share the recipe but it won't be like ours because one part is secret
When it is passed from generation it is considered an heirloom. He failed to recognize that!
If I gave away my MIL’s recipes she’d haunt me. You never tell them everything she’d say! Miss her so much!
Story 7: I get OP. I know I'm going to be furious if my abusive sister dares to show grief when my mom dies.
In regard to story number 4, it seems that a lot of us are putting the cart before the horse. We shouldn't be hearing phrases like "my fiancé and I" are having a baby, it should be "my husband and I" are having a baby. Maybe this is where a lot of our issues begin because we don't have a commitment before we procreate with these selfish, irresponsible people.
Story 1. I think chick found out that dude wanted to invite op and she got mad. Then dude used the excuse that op was going to do the photos.
This guy is not only not ready to be a dad, he's not ready to be in a adult relationship. His words 'his family comes first' wtf.
Story 2: Omg, this is my last relationship to a T.... without the friend issue.
Story 5 should be changed to 'AITA for suddenly moving in my affair child into me and my wife's home and expecting her and our daughter to just get over it or leave'
I am the keeper of the family cake recipe. My daughter's and dil have it and are sworn to secrecy. For me that kind of violation is breaking a SACRED trust that, gets you disowned.
S5: I’m surprised that anyone’s surprised that a rich person acts entitled and above the law and social norms. Look around-most of them fully believe that about themselves. There are scientific studies demonstrating how humans lose empathy and connection with others as they gain power.

Unless in Story 3 Hubby only expects her to handle kids/the house for the same number of hours he's at work and then they split the rest (after work/weekends) 50/50 he doesn't have a leg to stand on. Yes earning money is stressful and having a full time job is stress full, but being a stay home parent you don't get to clock out at 5pm and you def don't get weekends off and I'm betting this guy spends a lot of his weekend/after work time not helping out
God, story 8 had me just almost screaming asshole! It was something important to her and because he thought differently who cares?! He sold it for 100 bucks?! How can you be so sucky and say you're not that guy? How can you make it better? You can't! It was that bad!

Why was the trip spread out so long!! My baby was 2 and a half weeks early! So when his baby is due! He’s going to take up the whole month!!! If anything! He could’ve left on the 15th, and plan to come back on the 20th! If he had to go! And if his mommy wasn’t happy with that, he doesn’t go!

Story 2: she needs to understand that if they will do it WITH YOU, they will do it TO YOU!!!! They were both biggest red flag in the very beginning of this story 😂 wives can't have male best friends, because they 99% of the time have alterior motives

Story six, Op sounds like a terrible person! If I was the son! I would sue this monster of a mother!! Why didn’t she tell the baby daddy! Why should her kids pay for her mistakes, the accident was her fault, but she takes no responsibility! cheating wasn’t her fault, she’s the victim! Now she want to take her sons money! She probably told Diego she’s going to get in that money, she seem to do dumb stuff, I can see her doing more dumb stuff. She’s is a terrible person, that’s been a terrible person.

Dusty, they're pissed at Aiden because they had zero time to process this, they're in an extraordinary amount of pain, and this kid is being shoved down their throats. You're right, it's not his fault but they had zero time to process. Frankly, I think OP used that to his advantage. They're not the assholes and no Aiden isn't either. It's just another thing that makes the OP a raging jerk. I hope the wife, the daughter and Aiden all join forces once they realize what type of person the OP is and they live together. I think you're also making an assumption when you say they aren't angry at OP. I think they're pretty furious. I hope there's an update that says she contacted an attorney and is going to be able to get at least half and that maybe the three of them unite together
Something must be wrong with me, 😂 I believe in taking care of my husband, but he does help me out. 😂if I ask him for help he does help. When we had our baby girl, he would also get up, and hold her and change her diaper, while I went downstairs to get her bottle. Or when we eat he makes sure I’m eating first even when we go out. So maybe I have no reason to complain.😊
I know I'm late here, but on story 8, sorry dude, but that's divorce worthy. Especially if that couple you sold the recipe to sells or shares that recipe. You literally stole from your wife and her family. And that is not an exaggeration. She had a recipe that was kept only in the family and you (not a blood relative) took it and gave it to someone not in the family at all. If my husband did that, there'd be no fixing it. You showed that you do not care about her boundaries, that you do not care if something is important to her, that you only care about what you want and about your feelings. I mean, how are you going to feel if you find out that those friends sell that recipe for thousands of dollars? Will that little over a hundred dollars still be worth it? Man, i am honestly pissed off at you for your wife. You are so incredibly selfish and the fact that you probably still dont see any issues with what you've done tells me that your wife deserves better. I write recipes, and i share them for the most part, but if i had secret recipes, you better believe that i would take that seriously and feel violated if someone broke that trust. You cannot unring this bell and i significantly doubt you can make this right, but boy, you better have been really trying.
I’m confused as to why Dusty keeps quoting Candy’s stages of emotions. He has done this repeatedly in past videos. Is Candy some kind of professional counselor or therapist? Just wondering why he keeps quoting it and where it comes from.
Grandparents gave half to their SON and half to 2 granddaughters if I heard correctly. How is that wrong? If the genders were reversed, would that be ok in your eyes?
"If the genders were reversed" seems like a strawman fallacy, but setting that BS aside: if Dusty/Candy are understanding this correctly, it means that the son gets 50% of the $, and the daughters each get 25%. So, better question than "How is that wrong?" is: how is that okay? Like, of course, the grandparents can do what they want with their $, that doesn't necessarily make it right.

@chantellenew2331 the grandparents' son is Matt. The story says, specifically, that the $ was left to Andrew, their grandson. So, one grandkid gets 50 while the others each get 25.
