thanks for the help changed it out but my problem ended up being the differential internal bearing .. soo for anyone with this problem trying to diagnose it keep your eyes out
Thanks for the video!! Had problems getting the bolt off(4:49).. Thanks for reminding me that heat is the solution! Did you get the Dust shield on after taking on the bearing(9:14)? Have a 2006 version, seems that bearing has to come off to replace the dust shield...
@@JonasKlemets Thanks Jonas! Now 3 years later. Sold the sprinter I had back then after repairs for EU, and now after a couple of Toyota Hiace´s, back to 4x4 sprinter of the same type. Without black death :D By the way, cutting the break shield is the best way to go!
How many miles did you have on the van when the LR bearing gave out? Seems to me that your differential oil was low or the wrong oil? I have an '06 with no problems at this time. Thanks
@@JonasKlemets sorry I should've asked also did you have to buy a new carrier for the abs sensor? Cos I destroyed one aswell attempting to get the bearing off.
Thanks for blessing us with your time and information.

Helped a lot!

Hans E. Hi, the dust sheild was cut in two pieces on my van. So it was quite easy to put it back
Thanks Jonas :) If cut in two, will it not let some dust in through the splits? or, will it be sealed by the seal?
Hans E. It will leave such a small gap so i dont think it will become a problem before the car will be scrapped

Would it be possible to just replace the dust shield if it's cut in half without having to remove the drive shaft?
Craig Guy if it is cut in half it its possible to change it without removing the axle.
Cool thanks mate
