@@nikkosdinno312 Or drumming is just a serious profession or hobby? I have a 4000 dollar kit with 1K pedals, K cymbals, specialty mega bell rides, paiste rude ect. Not a damn single person in this world helped me do that shit but my own hard earned cash. and it took 5 years
Exactly what i did for my mixed imperialstar and starclassic… pretty big setup it was! 2x22" kick 2x 10" tom 2x12" tom 14" floortom 2x 16" Floortom 2x hihat 2x ride 6x crash 2x china 2x splash 2x trashhat 1 bell 2x cowbell It was awesome to play that kit! Used it for a volbeat tribute. It needed to be quick built up and broken down… change over was mostly 25 minutes for complete back line checks Thanks to the system of 3 separated racks i managed to get this large kit off stage in 6 minutes!!!
Starting out in the early 80's I couldn't help but notice the lack of innovation in both drums and hardware for so many years. Fortunately, in the past 5 years especially, drum companies are thinking out of the box. DW's innovations with shell construction and Gibraltar's hardware are prime examples.
This is pretty beautiful, but the idea of going to a gig with all this stuff sound terrifying unless you're making enough money to hire a drum tech. I love seeing all the possible set ups, for anyone who is gigging, and going to smaller venues keep it simple boys. Keep it simple.
Awesome ideas Brent!!!...question: whats the model number of the "boom/arm" that's holding the ride cymbal on the right?...thanks....keep rocking Brent!!!! \\m//
I think i'm gonna make myself a "2 kit" when i'm older (currently 15). Two toms Two floor toms Two bass drums Two snare drums Two gong drums Two roto-toms Two crash cymbals Two hi-hats Two splash cymbals Two ride cymbals Two china cymbals Two Max-Stax Two electronic pads Two electronic cymbals. All together: 28 parts. That is a lot, just from having 2 of each...
bat trap baby cause that looks like a DW collectors edition drum kit which ranges from $5K to $9K. All those Zildjian K Custom cymbals amount to at least $2500.00+ and then all the hardware is close to $1,000.00. Rich parents more than likely or just a really spoiled kid.
Well, it's all nice and fine but nevertheless, I've got under the impression that Brent is a fine craftsman for the happy few whom can afford all those beautifull racks & components needed to make the setup complete. Sure, its nice but not within the (financial) possiblities of, let's say, 90 percent of us, all drummers who need to be satisfied with a lot less. Also, let's not forget, you probably will need a "drum roadie" to set up such a big set and, of coarse, I wouldn't be the one who needs to carry all of this from one gig to another neither...... So, we can conclude easely by saying, beautiful but expensive, right, and let's not forget, you'd probably need a truck?
this dude didn't need a makeover. he had an 8 piece kit with all Zildjan K custom cymbals!
Greg & John seriously haha. Must be nice to have parents that can splurge on that kind of a kit with all those Zildjian K Customs.

Welk Done, Brent!
Ingenious way of using the front rack system for the sides.
He is good at designing these racks no doubt and major props for him remembering all the Part#'s! This is the xp31sstlkopiuyt32667 rack clamp.
And for being able to use racks and have them look like normal stands
