I just got a 30th Anniversary 24" ride. Such an awesome cymbal - sounds huge! I'm wanting to get some 30th 16" hats next. Are you still liking yours? Are they pretty versatile for different types of music? Do you recall the weights of yours? I'm also looking at a Traditional Dark Crash - probably start with 20". Always enjoy watching your videos!
That’s awesome! Love my 30th anniversary hats. I’d say they’re pretty versatile. They’re dark and trashy sounding for sure, but i feel like they work just fine even with stuff like pop music where you need bright sounds. The bottom hat is 1285 g and the top was just a little lighter. TD crash is great as well, but fragile haha. Thank you, i appreciate that!
Awesome. I’m definitely looking at the 30th’s 16’s now. I found a new set with a bottom of 1285 and top of 1105. I don’t need anything super loud, but want them to cut a little. I also love sloshy hats when they are open. It was between the 30th’s, Dry Dark’s and Traditional. I really like the hand-hammered bells of the 30th’s. There is just something cool and special about them.
@@PatrickWitherow yeah man those will be great! definitely can’t go wrong with them and they should work perfect for what you’re looking to get out of them!
Awesome Ludwig kit! I've got a '63 Oyster Blue Pearl kit in the same sizes, but with a 22x12 bass drum. The old 3-ply shells are truly some of the best. That Joey ride sounds amazing. I'm trying to decide between it and a Heartbeat 24" Epic or Jazz ride.
Oh wow that’s amazing! The vintage ludwig’s are my favorite kits! Thank you! I would definitely go with the joey. I believe that the build quality is better hence why Istanbul Cymbals are so popular. And the joey is the original haha.
I love your cover drums sound amazing even the snare sounds so freaking good i think we all worship drummers love our ludwig brass snare drums
Very nice 👍
The snare is out of this world!
Awesome job, snare sounds incredible!

Much effects on the snare? EQ and Compression?
EQ, compression, reverb, sampling!
What snare sample are running?
don’t remember what i used but there was a few fat ones blended together. and eq on top of that.
After the bridge there is no kick until the first snare hit!
