Configure SNMP on Extreme Networks EXOS

Brief walk through of the commands that you will need to set up SNMP v2 and v3.

Hello boss, i have the problem that the snmpd process consumes more and more ram over time until the switch crashes. I couldnt find any memory settings or auto-restarts, do you have any tip?

EXOS has modules that you can reboot if you have an issue with a certain protocol. extreme-networks.my.site.com/ExtrArticleDetail?an=000090259&q=restart%20snmp%20service this should help you out.

Not able to get configure snmp. The only option is #configure terminal.
