That little pistol pin was awesome! I love finding unique items like that. What you found was indeed treasure. Great video Greg. 💖💯
I loved that one too, Julie! Thanks and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Always appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
yeah i found some very similar ones in Germany, theyre around 1900 until WW2 I would say. Or what would you say?
@@1armeddrummerinaprisonrock244 That would probably make sense. Appreciate you watching this one.
"Cap guns, racecars and cool bikes"... Greg, we had the same childhood 😂! This episode gave me the idea to reach out to the owner of my childhood home. I'm the last of 6-kids and we basically lived in our backyard. We had lots of neighborhood kids that also considered our yard as their personal playground. I can only imagine what might still be left behind in the dirt. Wish me luck getting the permission. Excellent video!
That will be an awesome hunt for you if you can get permission. Best of luck and I hope you find some great things there. Keep me posted! ATB Greg
Great finds 👍 I loved your comment about .... amazing gun fights in the backyard! So true. 😂 Keep up the great work.
Thanks Matt and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
Even though you didnt find any train related items, we still got a visit from a train & horn, that was awesome
Greg, absolutely loved all of the kids toys. My brothers played with their toy guns out in the yard all the time, many years ago. Very nice finds. As always you represent your channel so well. Happy Independence Day.👏👍😀🇺🇸
Thanks so much guys and I'm glad you all enjoyed this one. Thanks for the kind words and I always appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
Nice hunt Greg. Very interesting finds.

Another great vldeo Greg, L think the "Pistol Pin" was the best. Take Care, and see you next week.
Thanks Gary and I loved that piece as well! ATB Greg
Makes me want to go back to my home place where my father WWII vet built the house I grew up in. Maybe I’ll find an old toy or money I used to play with in the yard. Thanks!
You definitely should if possible. That would be a blast to be able to detect a spot like that. Thanks for watching this one, Larry! ATB Greg
Enjoyed 👍
Thanks Rick and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Appreciate you watching! ATB Greg

Thanks Charlie and that was the car that got me started in Mustangs and led to me opening my Mustang business when I was in college. So many muscle cars and so many good times rolling the streets in them. ATB Greg

Hi Greg , good episode my friend and some good period finds to and for me the best find by far is the small flint lock brooch stick pin a lovely little find although i do like the old lighter to , anyway well done on the finds and good luck on your next hunt , best wishes and ATB Rob 👍
Thanks so much Robbie and I really like that old piston pin as well. Such a neat and unusual piece to find. It's been tough out there with our heat and hard soil but all we can do is keep chipping away. Appreciate you watching and I enjoyed watching your latest video last night. Have to get on the computer and leave a comment. Look forward to your next one my friend. ATB Greg
Happy 4th of July, Greg!!! Great episode! 😊
Thanks so much Andrea and glad you enjoyed this one. ATB Greg

Great video AGAIN!!! Happy 4th of July Greg!!🇺🇸❤️🤍🩵
Thanks Rebecca and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Hope you had a great 4th and I appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
When I would hunt in rock hard soil, after I made the initial plug, if it was still in the hole, I would use a very stout, long shaft, slotted screwdriver to break up the dirt, was much easier to dig without damaging the target, Also works very well in gravely areas.
Yes, that would come in handy in those situations. Appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
Good deal Greg, as always buddy 👍👍🤙✌️
Thanks so much Doug! Always appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
You welcome buddy, keep on keeping on 🤙🏻
Here watching 👀. Enjoy watching your finds . Love American History. Thanks for the new adventure..
Thanks so much for watching this one Tom! Much appreciated.
Hey Greg. I just watched your hunt from yesterday i enjoyed it as always it's been muggy here and the nasty mosquitoes are in full force my off has deet didn't stop'em.
Thanks for watching this one Steven and you know it's bad out there when the mosquitos don't give a deet about your spray! :) ATB Greg
Nice work Greg!! Ford man huh? I’ve owned a few ford trucks which I loved but never cared for their cars too much. I was a GM guy for years, my first car was a 1966 Pontiac GTO that I paid $500 for and fully restored, drove through high school and sold in my early 20’s and I wish I never did. I also restored a 1964 Chevy C-20 283 4 speed, wish I still had that beast too. Any way, I got hooked on hemi’s and remain a MOPAR guy ( Mostly Old Parts and Rust) 😂 keep at it and tell Chris to get out more. ATB- Bob
I have had a ton of old Fords and Mustangs but I have definitely had my share of old Chevy's, Pontiacs, Mopars and even an AMC. Too many to list but my favorites were my 1970 GTO, 1972 Cuda and 1970 Red White and Blue Rebel Machine. Chris has been busy making a living and he just can't hunt in this heat that we always have this time of year. I'm on my own for now. :) Thanks for watching! ATB Greg
I was playing that song in my head as soon as the words were out of your mouth, and then you said you were thinking of an 80's song😂
Haha I get songs stuck in my head all the time. Appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
Super Hunt Greg. Love seeing all the old toy cars and interesting old caps and relics come out of the ground. All the best John
Thanks John and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. Appreciate you watching! ATB GReg
Happy 4th of July Greg.
Thanks Merle and same to you! ATB Greg
Hey I keep most of my trash too. Speaking of Dr Pepper.....I dug up a complete Dr Pepper can that said "be a Pepper" on it. Found out it was from the early 80s. I still have it. Lol. I found such similar stuff in my yard as you did there. The wheaties, toy cars, cap gun parts. Who knows what else I could find if I had a new detector. And yeah.....it's hot here too. 97⁰ right now. And the British penny was cool. 1936 I think was the first year for George VI.
Thanks Michael and I'm glad you enjoyed this one. I would have saved that old can too! Appreciate you watching! ATB Greg
Lots of varied history today. (I'm sure there will be folks out here who would not agree with you about those good old days. I would agree that there were aspects of my childhood ---in the 50s---that were great, but...)
There has never been a period in US history that is without its own problems but compared to what we are experiencing now, any period before the early 2000's, in my opinion, could legitimately be considered the good old days. I can say with 100% certainty that I would rather raise kids in the times in which we grew up rather than today. Thanks as always for watching Alana. ATB Greg
I love the content come back anytime.
Thanks Bradley and glad you enjoyed watching. Appreciate the comment. ATB Greg
Happy 4th of July
Thanks very much Michelle and I hope you had a great one! ATB Greg
George the sixth became King in 1936.
You said that you found a silver quarter…curious why you didn’t show it?
This episode picked up right where we left off the previous week and the silver quarter and other finds mentioned were shown in that episode. Thanks for watching this one Troy! ATB Greg
Penny is George V
You know your 🚘 cars
Thanks Leo and I have been into cars since I was a kid and throughout my life as a profession as well. Appreciate you watching this one! ATB Greg
P.S. Happy Independence Day
Thanks Terry and I hope you had a great one! ATB Greg
Maybe this sounds silly but maybe WW2 vet smoking his sigar with his watch sitting by his wife or child with thier newer watch. Just a thought.
I can picture that having happened. It's always fun to surmise about how things came to be lost where they were. :) ATB Greg
