I'm so sad that always open is going on hiatus again but at the same time so happy for Barbara and Trevor. They are just too cute together and I am so happy for them!
Rather than being sad that Always Open is ending, I want to just say thank you to everyone involved with the show. Only discovered the show right as it went on the first Hiatus and ended up going back and watching/and or listening to all the previous episodes. So much of the advice has been incredibly helpfull. Especially discovering that there is so many people that have the same thought process as myself. Knowing you aren't alone in your thoughts really helps lifts your spirits. Thank you from the bottom of my heart and good luck to all of your future endeavours. I hate goodbye's so I will simply say À bientôt.

I'm sad to see an end to always open right now, but I'm excited to see new projects from y'all. Its so crazy that I've watched Barbara and Trevor's relationship grow over the years. So crazy their engaged. I feel old

Congratulations guys, I'm happy to hear about your engagement. We went through the wedding planning process and it can spiral really quickly.
Just be sure to sweat the small stuff beforehand. But on the day of, just try to be in the moment because it will be over so quickly.
I would also recommend putting a lot of thought into your music. The pre-ceremony music, groom walk up music, bride walk up music, music after the glass smash, all of it. I go back to listen to my wedding playlist all the time and it is really nice to have for us sentimental types.
So happy for Barb and Trevor. I got married a year ago at 51 (my second) and the first for my 42 year old husband (his first). I went back and forth about having a wedding and looking back, I wouldn't have changed a thing! Wish you all the best.
Sad to hear about Always Open ending after just a 9 month stint on the All Good No Worries channel. Also sad to see that this basically means the channel itself is all but shutting down given how the steady stream of content has slowed to a trickle. Always Open was the one show that was still being released with regularity. Please Be Nice To Me is being released less and less frequently, and all other shows (Cozy Couch, How Hard Could It Be, and Blended) have stopped entirely. I get that everyone is focusing on other productions, but ending the flagship show of the channel means the death of the channel itself.
I really think that the constant stream of hate from the main Rooster Teeth fanbase has to have contributed to the decision.

Completely understandable, both from the limited things I know that RT is spinning up, plus a wedding? That’s quite a production in of itself.
I hope that this great show comes back in some form some day, but if not, just know how much it has meant to so many of us. Especially fellow millennials just trying to figure things out, lol.

Ive yet to fully catch up on Always Open but im sad to hear about the hiatus. I think i just assumed that id always be able come back to new podcasts from Barb, Michael, and Gus. Drunk Tank and Internet Box were the first podcasts i got into as a kid and i never thought there'd be a time when i couldnt find new pod episodes from these 3 especially. Congrats to Barb and the boi, I wish you well in this new era
So happy for you guys! Loved hearing your engagement story, but it did make me very sad on a personal note. I got engaged at the beginning of this year and then she called off the engagement in September and we are no longer together, so it is just hard to think about how we quickly went from telling people our engagement story to now feeling so lost in life and grieving the loss of what I thought was my forever relationship.

I'm sad that Always Open is ending for the 2nd time, but what we get in return is more Barbara content in All Good No Worries, Stinky Dragon, hopefully more Con-Appearances and most importantly Barbara and Trevor getting married sometime in the future. Whatever the new year brings, I'm so excited that Barbara and Trevor are engaged, and that's more than I thought would happen in 2023! Congrats! 🎉🎉🎉
Gonna miss this show so much again. I just got caught up on the old episodes and am now working through the newest phase. This show has helped voice and provide language for elements of all my relationships and everyone you have on is wonderful and brings their own perspective so nicely. Excited for what you all will be bringing for 2024 and on.

Mostly because of 2 reasons we are eloping somewhere 1 reason being we never really got to travel. 2 we just can't afford a huge wedding. Our solution is to have a beautiful trip with our kids and get married. And then have a nice BBQ celebration with everyone

They had a 2nd photographer the bride's sister was friends with but at the end MY photos are the kept ones because how they turned out.

I remember when this show was a staple of my RUclips week. This videos headline would've made me watch it the second it dropped and then two more times over. But this show isn't that show anymore. It's not for any single reason or fault, it's just not fun like it was 2-3 years ago. Time for me to put RT on permanent hiatus

Probably the fact that RT has become so bad that they can’t afford to do anything good but also no one cares about RT anymore this most recent season of always open struggles to beat 20k views while the older ones have over 100k soo.. maybe y’all shouldn’t have crapped the bed after all your heavy hitters left

With Always Open going on hiatus I am guessing All Good No Worries goes with it. They've already cancelled almost all the other shows the channel had without replacing them with anything new. The only thing left is Please Be Nice to Me. And, while I do like it, it's not enough to carry a channel on its own. Especially not with irregular uploads. If that show continues at all it will probably be on the Funhaus channel.
This doesn't look at all like a personal decision. This looks like corporate fuckery to get rid off a channel that's underperforming so the people working on it can work on something more profitable, regardless of their own passions.
Call me cynical, but I have seen this happen so many times now. I am curious to see how long Dog Bark lasts until Michael, Joe, Trevor and Alfredo "choose" to go back to Achievement Hunter.

Indefinite hiatus. Not cancelled. We brought it back after going on hiatus previously, so not completely closing the door forever.
