Have you ever wondered how to make Alexa turn on lights in your home? If you want to have your lights controlled by Alexa or any Amazon Echo device, this video is for you. You can turn on lights with Alexa very easily and for less than $50 for 4 rooms! I use the Amysen 4 pack mini Wifi smart plug. They were happy to help me make this video by sending me a couple to use. They also want to give all of you a chance to get 4 of these for cheaper than normal!

do you absolutely need the little white wifi plug you had to be able to turn on your lights with the echo? or do you just need the app you had

hey what's up? so If I ordered the Amysen.. If probably need Echo Dot or Alexa or not necessarily? And let's say I plug one to the hall .. to turn off and on lights there Is need smart bulbs right? did I mean there's not connection whatsoever between a Regular lamp and the amysen smart hub..

Would this work with a projector? isn’t it bad killing the switch on projector’s and tv’s
It would work on almost anything that takes power. As far as TV's and such, it's hard to say. I would check with your manufacturer to be sure, but a lot of people use similar hardware to turn their TV's on and off. As for a projector, most of them need cool down time with the fan so I wouldn't recommend it for that.

I need sum help so I bought a pair of 4 and I been trying to connect them to my WiFi and I just can’t and I don’t know how to check if I have 2,4ghz
In most cases, some WiFi routers have 5ghz, but all have 2.4ghz, so you should be fine if you need 2.4ghz - I'm certain it is the default boradcast band in your router, unless of course it has been turned off. If so, you may need to consult the manual to learn how to connect to the router from a PC and enable the 2.4ghz radio. It is usually at an address like 192.168.0.1. If you type that into your web browser, it should give you access to the router's admin page.

Can you connect it to PC (open with voice) ? or to a non-smart TV ? you need Philips hue if you want to turn on/off the bulb (from the roof , i don’t know if it has a special name in english)

This may be a total noob question, but what about security? I've heard of vulnerabilities in IoT devices and was wondering if devices like this are able to be secured/upgraded.
Probably not this one but to be honest it only turns on and off things. Not a lot else it can do to be dangerous in any way. If someone hacks your account they are just annoying not dangerous

I have a ring light but the ring light has a remote on the cord and when I tell my Alex to to turn lights off it just powers my ring light it doesn’t actually turn it on is it possible to make it so I can turn it on with my voice ?
