Gotrek (post phone a friend part) is an epic hero from the old world, so tough an exploding planet couldn’t kill him. He is eons older then the Fyreslayers… I believe that he is older then Archeon… so he may look like a fyreslayer but he is a Slayer

At the end of Realmslayer Gotrek scares off a magma dragon godbeast. The Fyreslayers watching it start calling him the incarnation of Grimnirr (the god he hates the most). That's the main reason he hates Fyreslayers. He does make peace with them in Soulslayer when he fights with a different lodge of naked dwarfs.
