Day 60: Playing Chess Everyday Until 2500 ELO!

This is day 60 of me playing chess everyday until I reach the rapid rating of 2500 ELO!
Today I was having the white pieces and I opened the game with pawn to e4. My opponent responded with 1...Nc6, which is known as the Nimzowitsch defense. I didn't follow the main line, neither did my opponent and we ended up in a position very similar to the Scandinavian defense!
The position was very sharp and intense, but I decided to try and attack my opponent's king, which was castled on the queen side.

I have a suggestion for trying new opening and rare lines so you can confuse your opponent. By playing every time same opening you will eventually get tired off to play it

yeah but the problem with new opening is you need a period of time to remember, while the opening that you have been playing for a long time is still consider better. Especially in this case where he need to reach 2500.

Maybe I should add some tricky variations into my repertoire, but I don't think changing openings will result in better results. But thanks anyway :)

i see you improved 1100 - 1800 in just 4 months, it's excellent result. how much time per day have you been training and how?

I've been solving a lot of tactics and puzzle rushes as well! I was training around 3 hours a day :)
