RIP Bill Paxton. This was an awesome attraction with a terrifying queue and preshow. Bringing something so real for many to the parks was quite an experience.
Thanks for the video Craig!!! You were talking about it and I couldn't wait. A great tribute to one of the great "experience" attractions. This was a really well done attraction, and the movie was one of my favorite adrenaline movies when it came out. Truly part of Universal history.
This makes me tear up, I will greatly miss this attraction. I'm really mad at Universal for removing this classic attraction. Thanks for the awesome video!
Thanks so much for posting this! I can't say this was the best attraction but it was interesting and later, my family and friends had some fun with it. The first time I did this, I waited 90 mins and got wet by the water sprayers that were in the back.
This ride will always be so special to me. It's my favorite movie of all time and has been since I was 3 years old. When I was 7, my family went to Universal for the first time and my dad, knowing I was a scaredy cat, decided that the first ride we would do would be the one from my favorite movie. He more or less had to drag me there but one of the Team Members aka Storm Chasers, got down on their knee and told me that it was going to be fun and asked me if I wanted to see a tornado up close. I had said yes and he looked at his partner and said "I'm gonna take this future chaser right inside." She gave him the thumbs up and he walked us through the queue and was pointing out all the things in the ride and got us right through to the front so we could see everything. He told one of the other "Chasers" to let us be in the front and to make sure we got there so I could see as I was quite small. We made it to the main show and for the first time, I wasn't afraid. I was so shocked and awestruck at the fact that they had brought my favorite movie to life. Nearly 20 years later I worked for Universal and found the Storm Chaser. I told him of my experience and he got a little misty eyed at the fact he had left such an impact on me. So fuck you, Universal for replacing it with that shit you have now. Nobody likes Jimmy Fallon and he isn't funny. You took away everyone's go-to ride and I'll never forgive you for it.
When I was kid this ride was freaking awesome. When I was there they told you if you were in the first front to rows you were going to get wet. My family was further back . When we got off the ride the people in the front were drenched. I miss this ride so much. It was scary and fun. The cow going by was the best part.
I haven’t been to Universal in years. I got excited to go back to go on this ride and now I find out that it has been replaced by some Jimmy Fallon mess. My favorite attractions are gone. WTH?? Thanks for uploading 😢
Turning this into that Jimmy Fallon 3d movie screen crap has got to be the biggest attraction downgrade in Universal history. The theme and sets they had for twister back then were so cool and interactive.
There bigger whirlwind northeast mannequins guys get out here mannequins do copy oh no run 🏃♂️ the barn come on oh my gosh it’s a big tornado and tigers 🐅 coming is heading home 🏠 we gonna run 🏃♂️ hang on guys might lions tigers bears 🐻 it works every time come on into the storm cellar door 🚪 quick shut the door 🚪 scream 🙀 it’s the tornado 🌪

I came by for the nostalgia. I loved this "ride". R.I.P. Bill Paxton and Phillip Seymour Hoffman.
The perfect quality of Twister out there.
I'm going to be honest this is a ride I do miss a lot. When I was little this ride would scare me to death you guys have no idea how much! 🤣
Brings back great memories. My kids now older still remember this ride ❤️ thank you 😊

Still better than Jimmy Fallon
I know right?
i think the reason it was replaced was becuase twister costed over 2k per show.
I miss that ride.
With the new movie coming out this summer they need to remake this in some form

Haven’t ridden this since I was 11. Thanks for getting footage of this! I’d like to say this was Craig’s doing?
I never actually got a chance to go on that ride
2:56 Chandler tornado outbreak 1992.
Still Better Than Jimmy!
It’s a shame this was replaced. While
the movie didn’t age well, this ride was still classic Universal.
The movie is still great to this day, what do you mean?

Twister......... Ride It Out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I wish they hadn't replaced this attraction with Jimmy Fallon. Sorry, Jimmy.
Did anyone have the urge to run on set while all of that was going down or is it just me? 🤣
I’m still salty I never got a chance to ride this
Ok I just realized they could have held his hand

Wait, Twister is still open? Are you from an alternate universe?? And there's no COVID-19???
I've got an idea, let's replace this with Jimmy Fallon. Because he's just SO funny....
Universal Florida now sucks. They took all the good classic rides out. I told my kids about em last time we went and they want the rides back lol
So much better than Fallon

Just as lame as the film
You don’t like the film and ride…?
