@MMOByte the best way to put it is that a lot of us veterans in the game moved on due to how fast and not so challenging the content was. Granted I played a year or so ago, but going through the story felt like the only thing the game had going for it. Once you hit "endgame" there were weapons to grind for but they were only barely better than the weapons and gear you would get basically for free from the season equivalent vendor or whatever they were. it just didn't feel like it rewarded your time. the endgame entirely felt like you were just grinding for cosmetics, but you can just swipe and sell what you get and save yourself HOURS to get the cosmetic you want, that is if it's not a scalped item. It just felt like the game had so much potential, but they forgot to give you anything to actually work for, or content to work to be able to do.
I am more likely to go back and play Blue Burst than this game, its so sad how little content this game gets and how inferior it is to the original game
I dropped the game and returned five times already since launch. It was a good game with good potential, but the endgame content is just dull and repetitive every time, grinding gear that gets outdated pretty fast. Maybe it's me that I don't know how to play the game, but it just isn't fun anymore, repeating the same rotation in every fight, doing the same dailies every day... But I may try it again because I have nothing better to do🤣
The game is slowly dying and it's no wonder, the game is the same old thing every single blessed day. I started NGS since they opened the Kvaris region until Nameless City, but I ended up getting bored, always the same UQ's, the same mobs, the same meaningless regions to explore and the worst DF... It's the most repeated boss I've ever met. Other RPG's give much more content, exploration, discoveries, treasures, new enemies in each area, all much more fun than NGS. The only reason I login NGS some days is just to check my CS, which is the only fun and novel thing for me in that whole game.

Sega doesn't want to admit that New Genesis is a failure. They made a mistake by releasing the game a year after Base PSO2 came out in North America. They could wait for another four years to perfect the game and have all the worlds together into a full game rather than building them yearly. People just don't play games for AC Scratches and Fashion, it's the story that matters the most.

It sad how great PSO2 was but fall off with NGS I really wish I could get addicted again because PSO2 was pure fun and the event quests were quite addicting because how much I enjoy it But there's no point to get addicted to it if there's no update on the game NGS overall is just a downgrade except for character customization
Whike it may look like the game is getting new content, a lot of it is recycled versions of essentially the aame things we've been getting for years. The fashion is cool, thats as much as I can say honestly. I think for new players, the action combat is still great, boss fights are very cool and i'm sure youll enjoy your time for a while for some nice fun. However for late game veterans there is still much to be desired and it'll truly feel like a slog with not much to do with very little reward.
The games just a chat box once you lv up all the way get any weapon class maxxed and its over no need to do anything anymore lack of content i tried hard not to give it up mostly because all the money i dropped into it but i finally cold turkey quit havent even logged on for tickets....
it's exactly what you'd expect. its the same as it was 3 years ago. empty world with nothing in it. complete downgrade of from Base PSO2. 5,000 hours on steam and more on the JP server before the game came to the west. Honestly i've never been so disappointed in a game before. It's sad because I grew up on this franchise and met so many friends. They all quit and my guild disbanded. Gameplay is just a watered down version of BDO endlessly running in circles except the environment you do it in hasn't changed in a years lmfao. Worst part is this game has so many awesome collabs. Melty Blood, Frieren, Kaiju no 8 and the list goes on.. but the game is horrible other than that
Honestly their bullshit Scratch tickets for new costumes is ass. I love that they do many cross over but just let me straight up buy the Costume with real cash or of the market from another player that bough it with real cash. Man Tera online was the best no loot box or scratch tickets or any other bullshit just buy the costume for real money or if you broke go on market place or just make a WTB and some one with shit load of money could sell if to you. I fucking hate modern mmo trying all their might to make it hell to get nice costumes. BDO, ESO price them so bad you have to spend like 30-40 bucks for them because you can´t get the right amount of pearls or crowns, PSO2 Fucking scratch tickets, FFXIV bit cheaper but if I Remember right can´t be put on market.
last time i look at videos from MMOByte the only good thing about pso2 NGS is the looks i hate the new game with a passion and im so butt hurt they neglected base pso2 and i do wish this NGS shit die out
Actually, so many of us actually found reasons and problems that caused us to drop the game not out of spite or hatred, but because the game wasn't truely keeping us invested or immersed anymore
0 reason being not much actual content being dropped regularly? They just want to shove more cosmetics for the cash shop. I'm more likely to go back and play the original game than this thing.
I mean, there's one reason to drop the game... there's zero reason to play it. Perhaps if all the other games are exhausted dipping into pso2 is fine but then MHWilds drops and everyone is gone.

Spam limit quest cause is what give more mats and nothing more cause open world and the other insance quest are meaningless.
It sad how great PSO2 was but fall off with NGS
I really wish I could get addicted again because PSO2 was pure fun and the event quests were quite addicting because how much I enjoy it
But there's no point to get addicted to it if there's no update on the game
NGS overall is just a downgrade except for character customization
12:17 But you said at the start you play the game from your channel start. But you dotn have see all the update in one years ? ::Sight::
He said PSO 2. Not NGS.
Base PSO2 still the best
We waited over 10 for the game and a soon as it came it fell off real quick
What’s “Jenn-uary” 😂
No. You're "go go muffin".
evidently....
Melty Blood, Frieren, Kaiju no 8 and the list goes on.. but the game is horrible other than that
I wasn’t too fond of this game had so many issues with the community and people on the game meant too many toxic people it was so off putting to me
Honestly their bullshit Scratch tickets for new costumes is ass.
BDO, ESO price them so bad you have to spend like 30-40 bucks for them because you can´t get the right amount of pearls or crowns, PSO2 Fucking scratch tickets, FFXIV bit cheaper but if I Remember right can´t be put on market.
last time i look at videos from MMOByte
the only good thing about pso2 NGS is the looks
i hate the new game with a passion and im so butt hurt they neglected base pso2 and i do wish this NGS shit die out
End of Xbox support for pso2 ngs due to lost a lot of players as Xbox is on verge of losing japan to Sony and Nintendo
yes
i hate how so many people drop this game for zero reason its insane
Actually, so many of us actually found reasons and problems that caused us to drop the game not out of spite or hatred, but because the game wasn't truely keeping us invested or immersed anymore
all thousands of people are in the wrong and ur right, sure
0 reason being not much actual content being dropped regularly? They just want to shove more cosmetics for the cash shop. I'm more likely to go back and play the original game than this thing.
I mean, there's one reason to drop the game... there's zero reason to play it. Perhaps if all the other games are exhausted dipping into pso2 is fine but then MHWilds drops and everyone is gone.
Sure... people with more than 4 thousand hours in that game have no reason. Sure...🤣
