Vorwerk Kobold VK200 - How Clean Are Your Carpets

- So you vacuum your carpet and you expect it to be clean, but really how clean are your carpets? I've been putting the Vorwerk Kobold VK200 vacuum to the test alongside my current vacuum cleaner.
Firstly, vacuuming my carpet with my vacuum cleaner before going over the top with the Vorwerk Kobold VK200 - Watch to see the results!

I had a Vorwerk vacuum about 20+ years ago. It lasted for about 10 years and did a brilliant job
They are really worth the investment, not only lasting longer than other vacuums but performing so much better too

This vacuum is just so awesome. I love how it extra cleans the carpet.

Your carpets look so clean after. I have never heard of the brand before but it got the job done.
And that carpet looked spotless! Goes to show the dirt that you can't see! And the first iteration was with a dyson too! visibly ticking the box, but ACTUALLY not really! I might have to look into this Kobold!

Wow, that is pretty amazing, your carpets looked spotless after the first vacuum. That Vorwerk Kobold VK200 will be amazing for anyone with allergies who need it super clean
It's great for anyone suffering with allergies, 99% of allergy-inducing particles captured
I had a try few years ago and i switch it with dyson. Vorwerk is a vacuum with bag, the filter system is very bad. yes it's a very powerful vacuum but all the micro powder that it takes away from the carpet goes in the air. not good for allergic person like me!!!
@@simonabarbarossa9379 You're totally wrong, all dust remains in the filter bag not in the air. It's even very suitable for asthmatic people.
You are never in contact with dust as bagless do.
In this video it shows how much dust it can take off a carpet for demonstration purpose, it comes with sealed bags when you purchase it.
Thats insane! I cannot believe it. Its giving me the creeps about how dirty my carpets might actually be!
That is a good test to take.. I like the look of the first carpet cleaner that you used.
I’d try the Zero G vacuum. It literally floats as you pull it along. Tests show that it removes 100% of dirt.
Never heard of this brand but will def be on the lookout when we purchase a new one. Great post!
I have to be honest and say I've never heard of this brand before! It looks like it does a super job, though. I dread to think how clean my carpets are(n't), even though I hoover every day!!
It's so easy for dust and dirt to be worked into the fibres, despite vacuuming daily

With 2 dogs and 3 kids I'd be terrified to see how much dirt comes out of our carpet! I'll start hinting to Chris for an upgrade...

If you went back over with the Dyson it would still continue to pick up dirt. You never get it all.
I will tell my husband.. he does all the hoovering
I’m afraid no vacuum will totally clean the carpets. Even your Vorwerk. Reverse the test and you’ll see what I mean
it does totally clean the carpet, you can reverse the test. Special technology - and she even didn't use the strongest sucction power. Vorwerk is the best!!!
the dyson is two years old the vorwerk is brand new of course it will pick up more
Conor Riddell the Vorwerk I was using for this was an ex demo model do has had plenty of use
if you reverse the test you will have the same result, for sure. plus the kobold is a bag vacuum, this means that has a very bad filter system and loose power while the bag goes filling.
I like to hoover sometimes
You would hope it does a good job for over 1 grand!!
Have an older version VK135 since 2006 and it still has same suction power. Can not yet be even compared to any other vacuum. At that time i paid for it EUR600-it was a lot of money for me but over the years it saved me loads (even with purchase of bags) and i am convinced it provided me with efficient cleaning. Now i am contemplating an upgrade ;) Still going for Vorwerk as quality ALWAYS PAYS OFF! p.s. we have a dog and children (plural) :P
@@NatalijaRadosevic My first one was a VK 135 too and I upgraded to VK 140 when it came out, I just can't imagine using something else today
It’s sounds as if the vacuum is constantly switching suction modes..... For me it would have to be just on one setting either max or medium😂
Dean Hunstock the Kobold automatically adjusts suction to the type and thickness of the carpet in auto mode
Yeah. That’s why I couldn’t leave it on AUTO- It would make me go crazy because t constantly changed the suction😂😂
