  • Hull Trains is a remarkably small operator with its total fleet amounting to just five 5-car Class 802 "Paragon" bi-mode multiple units. Running trains between Hull and London seems rather niche, but Hull has always been a city at the edge of the country with its own unique character. Does Hull Trains reflect that character? I thought I'd check them out and see.
    I know this will probably be a biased review. I lived in Hull for many years and still have many fond memories of the city.

    Hull Trains Are Good But They Should Re Design The Standard Class Seat's and Make Them More Comfortable 👍

      Ah yes. The dreaded Fainsa Sophia seats. Not really designed for long distance express trains. Maybe we will get better when they are refurbished in years to come.
      Thanks for watching 👍

    Maybe you could tell us how much this journey cost, you weren’t first class I would be interested to do a comparison with what you get for the same money across Europe ? Better still do a comparison with that other country which kind of specialises in train travel.

      @JohnnyHooverTravels  9 месяцев назад +1

      I do say at the end (and in the description) what I paid for the ticket.
      To compare across Europe would be a fruitless task as costs vary so widely depending on country, train, operator and what deal you may or may not have got!
      Nevertheless, thank you so much for watching 👍

      It is always good to try a new route/operator. And Hull Trains is one of the smallest.

      @@JohnnyHooverTravels I have visited a couple of times recently, including a cycle ride from there down to Spurn Head. I like the place. Can't get over just how quiet Paragon is as a large Terminus. It does feel like the end of the Planet.

    The thing about Arsenal is they always try and walk it in

    Hull is on the Humber not the north sea get your facts right

    • @JohnnyHooverTravels
      @JohnnyHooverTravels  8 месяцев назад

      That was a quote at the start from famous Hull-based poet Philip Larkin, so your issue is with him, not me.
      I think Larkin's view was the Hull was a "North Sea" port (although it is actually on the Humber) in the same way that Southampton would be deemed a Channel port even though it is actually on the Solent.
      I hope you managed to get beyond that poetry to enjoy the rest of the video!

    As football is played at Arsenal, no good football is played there. Just like any other stadium 😂.
