Glad to see another video. This is a really thoughtful idea. I bring samples in for colleagues, I’ll make decants if they love something. Today I brought a new bottle of Perris Vanille Tahiti in for testing and two people wanted the link to purchase it. Around 6 is my standard dose but it can be fewer for strong fragrances like Oud Satin Mood and more for lighter fragrances like Cedro di Diamante. I can do 2-4 sprays of Oud Satin Mood or Bengale Rouge and 12 sprays of freshies like Cedro.
Kicki, your home is super cute. I have a small dining room with a lot of windows and it's almost the exact same shade of yellow as the small room I saw in your house Our house was built in 1895 and I see yours has a lot of character too. Is it older? I love to make samples to share with others. It's fun and though it takes some effort as you mention, it feels good! I have been suddenly going crazy for Elisire Desired, so much so that I went on their website and ordered another sample and added some others. Have you tried other perfumes from this house? I had never heard of them and their samples were very reasonable. oxJulia
Thank you! My house is exactly 100 years old. I have tried a few of Elisires fragrances and I LOVE Poudre Désir. Other than that, I am not so sure. Have not had the chance to try through the whole house. Their amber, Amber Nomade is quite horrible, over-fruity or something. Has some disturbing note. Might be the apricot and apple in there.
I make decants for my cousin when I see her, and I also pass on things others have sent me that didn't work out for me. She appreciates it because she likes perfume but doesn't treat herself
So many people are not willing to spend that money on themselves and would not even know where to go for decants or partials. They have probably never even thought of there being a secondhand market.

I tried Bottega Veneta edp recently and it is a really fantastic fragrance, it wears beautifully

Just curious, how many sprays do you usually do? For weaker vs stronger fragrances?

Bottega Veneta discontinued whole perfume line. Prices increased drastically in the US on Bottega Veneta perfumes.
So I heard! I am going to buy a used bottle that I have found for a good price.
