- Howdy. Let’s take a deep dive into the first photographs of Utah in the United States. These images are dated from 1869 through 1872 and are attributed to Timothy O’Sullivan and William Henry Jackson.
These men were involved in some of the first surveys of the American Southwest, and their images provided the clearest details of the glory of Utah. Outstandingly, many formations and structures now labeled as naturally occurring appear much more in question 150 years ago. Overall, these are remarkable photographs from a time period when the American Southwest was still very much an unknown.

Hi, there’s a channel called The Archivist w/analog by Ben. His early videos of the Americas done state by state from newspaper articles that were from the 1800’s, telling of the finds being discovered of stories we never knew. His Utah video really tells amazing things especially down south by the canyon lands that Egyptian artifacts were found and taken by the Smithsonian later to be denied they were ever found. Petrified Dragon was found in a cave also and removed by The Smithsonian after paying for its where abouts. Columbus didn’t discover America, it was the Original Old World and he was sent by the Queen for various reasons. Finding our True History has been so fascinating to learn about, thank you for your finds also.
Benben is awesome!
We agree. As an Inspector, we always look for discrepancies within runs of anything. So we would ask, if those are not melted buildings & the rock has the same atomic composition, WHY would only a few certain structures look different??!
Very astute, I diggit
attack by dragon fire.
Excellent content. Utah is very diverse. Crazy history narrative, things don't make sense from Saltaire to the Bramburger railroad. Thank you for your excellent work.
Also I just want to mention thank you Jared your pictures are really impressive that you post and your work is excellent you do us all the service❤
All I see are remains of titan trees. Also, why do so many of these sites have the name "Devils" before it?
Fear of the unknown & a few accounts of things, well... Unknown. Lol
excellent video as always brother! still hoping to get you on for an interview 1 day soon!
HOWDY Jarid!
How is it possible that you top yourself with every new offering?
Well, maybe it is that it only seems that way, to we viewing Boosters!
I find myself going-over many of your early originated offerings times
and again, receiving always that identical impression!
Well, there 'tiz -- the answer -- they all are standouts.
With alacrity veritably unabated, as salivating unapologetically, we
await your next . . .

❤great video. You do such a good and informative research. Thanks for your videos❤
It never ceases to amaze me of the quality of pictures their cameras took 150 years ago.
That simple fact lends immense credence to the possibility that much more advanced tech was available to them long ago.
luv the piano
A couple of the mountains had sunken in tops, like they were volcanos??? Lots of "structure type" formations with straight lines....... Nice commentary at the end Jarid
Memorable images
Much of Utah looks like the epicenter of a civilization wiped out!
Id have to agree
Devils Slide is very suspicious.
Legs, knees, cheeks,,,, tall. perhaps..
That's what I'm sayin, wth is that?
All those mountains were buildings at one time.
When ppl hear me say that (It even sounds crazy hearing myself say it, even after years & years.) Most think I must be teezin or that I'm 11 short of a bakers dozen (and Kooky.) But I think so too. And it's ALL over this realm. Crazy right?!?!?
@@Mr.8r1c3-8usch All will be revealed. People are waking up. Slowly but still a few at a time.
Great vid... and just a tip: There is other music from other periods that would sync well to your videos. This piano track is nice...but there are better ones. How about some Chopin? Beethoven could work since he dies in early 1800s
Woohoo! My hometown is The BEST Hometown! (lol!) 🎉😁🥰
Thank you for the Tour - Nothing endures like Mother Nature 👏
Thank you 🙏🏽 ❤
You are so welcome, my friend
@11:15, who built the trains? Where were the factories that built the gears, bearings, etc... Did they build the train or the tracks first? So these giant trains were built way before the car was invented? Even before the bicycle.... Yeah, makes complete sense....
Would be cool if someone found these spots and took the same picture and put them side by side.
The devils slide looks like a much much older version of what we have all over the hills and mountains in Montana, from mining. To get the ore down or up the mountains. Those scales up and way older, antiquarian even
Ohh super interesting !!! Great to see - but this seems very empty.. so I doubt that its all we ever had .. ;-)
Answers do not match what the eye sees !!!!! You can change" answers" to History !!!!
You can tell what's true because ears n eyes match & aren't hard to swallow like a bad script.
At 1:53bottom right corner is that two people??? One sat down facing away with a blanket around him and some thing on his back, and the other stood facing us but a bit distorted!!! ????
That caught my attention as well. Whatever they are they sure look scary
@@jaellechristian8693 yeah weird isn’t it! 👍
I love that piano, what a tune
Its gay af
WTH is Devils slide, anyone know?
What a strange and wondrous place.
Yes Earth is nothing short of Mystifying!!!
Are the canyons of the USA and Kazakhstan one canyon and are the maps lying?
With all their lies, Anything's possible
Had some big intricate nice buildings and a town laid out there but with dirt roads. Strange. There are so many strange things about if you think. The old stories don't add up. A bunch of melted brick stuctures and what survived and they repurposed it and posed in pictures.
At 10.40 a castle melted
Witches' Rocks - I Googled this in Utah and there are severalk places by the same name and similar appearance. This is interesting..... maybe the remains of ancient sorcery sites..... Alchemical expos and lei lines... .
LOok up arch duke ferdinands car number plate
It may surprise you
It sure looks like power poles at the mouth of Echo canyon in 1870 however electricity wasnt brought to that area until after 1880 according to the Utah history encyclopedia? Something huge happened around 1850 in my opinion that wiped everyone out and we are looking at pictures of the reset. Either way the main stream account is HIStory not the real history.
There were other people building the railroad but, they were not photographed because of their race back in those days. These are cool photos though.
At 8:00 it almost looks like that mountain could be a pyramid. At first i thought the telephone or electrical poles were out of place until i looked it up and i guess they are telegraph wires...lol
I too noticed
Imagine how different our world would look if we hadn't come as conquerors...if we had honored every treaty...if we had chosen peace. I bet it would be a more healthy, beautiful world.
Knows why everything labels devil
I just heard they had reverse engineering from Westinghouse and Tesla in Provo Utah and they were reverse engineering at least one item a week and copyrighting it in Tesla's name and they had all the first electrical engineers and Provo for the first school in the early 1900s which shows they're covering up electricity I guess it was a damn there and they were reverse engineering to figure out how they could use water to promote electricity
Was that a railroad track at approximately the 5' mark?
Yes
it's shows 2-3 tracks in utah territory by this time. Every cartoon of the wild wild west has them as well. Tunnels bore straight thru the mountains and all! 😂
That caught my eye as well.
@@carsyncruz acme mountain tunnel spots
Google says the railroad reached Utah in 1868😅
Does anyone else notice the lack of large trees? And trees in general
Noice.👌
Our world is recyclable.
Thank you for showing us Utah where I grew up, but haven't been there in a while. I have always found the Devil's Slide fascinating in Weber Canyon.
I would love to see you do a collaboration with Michelle Gibson and Deeper Conversations with Chad.
Chad is an awesome man. I respect that guy, imo his morals & such seem to be in the correct places & in working order.
@@Mr.8r1c3-8usch he's amazing. Have a beautiful day.
At three point seventeen It looks like a melted building on the left with windows a door and The whole thing looks just cooked out
Thank you. I’m a descendant of those early settlers in SLC. There was a handed down story that some of the buildings were already there when our ancestors got there. But it doesn’t look like anything significant in that panorama of the future site of SLC. Guess it was just a story 😌
I’m from Salt Lake City too, and as a little girl I remember those buildings that were so magnificent, like the temple and stores downtown. There have been some old pictures of 1920’s cars parked in front of them that I’ve seen. These large buildings were never built by us, they belonged to a Civilization before ours and that history was never taught to us, ours was fabricated in the late 1800’s by Rockefeller that started our education system.
The old stories are true.
It's quite significant that those buildings were there .
💜♥💜
1:41 in the bend of the river is a little white house with ruins next to it.
1:50 there is a troth (?), double wall (/) left side, then a break, it picks back up on the right side, with a square building in the middle.
2:20 where the water fall fans out, there is a pipe sticking out of the rocks.
Whatever the devils slide is, it is not natural!
4:25 there appears to be a metal building above and to the left of the tent.
9:50 that is a very large city for 143 men 3 women and 2 children to have populated from 1847-1869.
I saw those as well.
Utah was heavily mined prior to 1860’s that’s what I see
Horse and buggy tent people built the mormon temple!
😂😂😂
I to look upon these pictures ,emotions of the romanticism the love affair with our Planet - home has a secondary aspect which is the thirst .
We want need all of the knowledge of and about our Planet as we have claimed it from all others. We are aware that it is not ours and everywhere there's revealing proof of time it has been. Much much older and changed.
Things that were. . had gone and now something else resides . Humanity will have an end , it must for Planet to home the new. Not in anyway shape to accept our fate..the dilemma of ignorance or acceptance is a daily battle.
Everywhere around us there are signals that another life being ..like as lived.
Yet they left ..peacefully and had removed all material, traceable evidence of themselves. ... for us . Not so ? The whisperers and glimpses still remains.
Yes, or it was taken from them in an instant, Like a thief in the night. Well said th0'.
4:56 man and giant mouse?
Frog I thought
At 4:50 does guy in boat have horns, or am I trippin?
Looks like horns to me and bulging wide set eyes!
When xoomed in he looks to either have some energy field around home or it’s been tampered with, blacked out, added on? I first thought it was the plant behind him but then noticed a strange pattern all around that’s different composition than the rest of the background. Like some kind of transfer but they didn’t blend in the edges to the rest of the picture, or some kind of energy field
Real or Cg/PhotoShop? I was/am pretty good with such software, Could I recreate it as beLIEvable?
AI (really just algorithmic) art? Could explain the smooth transition between such unordinary humanoid combinations. Maybe?
Nice! Some of the pictures conflict with all laws of physics and natural erosion. It seems resets occur every few generations.
Dragons exists.
Where's the salt lake city
Great quest ion
