Didn't expect Netflix would do this, Karnataka Police is one of the best in India. The amount of cases they solve and make the place safe is immense. I had a very good experience when my Kerala friend got harassed by some goons and took his bike. Immediately cops got into action and caught them (Whitefield station), I was so happy that day by seeing the support. In 2 hours the case was solved and we got the bike back.
After watching this documentary, I felt it’s waste of watching exaggerated investigation movies. And I watched all the episodes in one go. Such a brilliant work. Keep going 👏👏👏👏
Finally something in Kannada. Netflix we need movies and series as well, both originally in Kannada and content from other languages dubbed to Kannada.
What i really loved about this show :- 1.Professionalism 2.1st episode depressed and mid life crisis scenario girl killed her mother and her bf extroting money. 3. Shady character black mailing a struggling couple. 4. Economic situation forcing a person to become sex worker. As a police they have done their job properly. But as a society not just our namma bengaluru its failing. 1st problem Theirs is no proper institutions and encouragement for mental health care and well being. Mental health care is important and its ignored in India very badly. Even our health insurance many of them dont cover it 2nd Theirs is a lack of psychological list in police department. The culprit or shady character who troubled young auto driver couple showed all sign of sociopath personalities. Their personality or mindset should be documented. 3rd In china every knife even if its a kitchen knife should embed with chip and verified
Having watched to series, I didnt find anything humane with the way the police treated the suspects at all. In Episode 3, the police in charge asks to turn away the camera as his sub-ordinate brandishes a baton against and elderly man and beats him. The old guy was released after. Total police brutality. Thanks to this series, in the mind of India police, prostitutes are the scum of the earth, but to frequent them is ok as long as you dont go home beat your wife. This series is totally messed-up
@@Steveinthailand to be honest, if you are familiar with the way Indian cops are and their image is, this series was an eye opener. I was expecting way more muck and to be fair to them the kind of pressure they have and the complexity of the crime, shortage of manpower, nature of the job makes certain things they employ questionable but then it's a grey area and at times the best choice. Something they themselves acknowledge. Infact the dame episode 3 did show the humane side where there was a clear change in heart of the lady cop and we did see the cops talk among themselves highlighting the plight of the sex workers and you see them serve lunch as a goodwill gesture. Also the 1st episode gave an insight into what's running in their minds and there was so much sensitivity. Since i understand the local language and i believe that i look at things objectively, i definitely felt this series was an eye opener.
Finally ಕನ್ನಡ in Netflix 🙏🏻🙏🏻🔥🔥😊😊 still more series to come....... There is also an industry called kannada, in South . Apart from Telugu, Tamil, and Malayalam .
Finally a south indian language. Stunning cinematography and the series keeps you hooked on. Wish they come up with another season with more south Indian languages.
Yes indeed the police have a narrow mindset. Even when a police women said that when she see a prostitue , she will not touch such a women. She as a woman must understand that there is a lot of crime against women, like rape. She must understand that some of those criminals who rape women also visit sexworker. Every time such a criminal visit a sexworker know that a other woman can walk save over the street. She the policewoman must be awared that is not always a womans choice to work as a sexworker.
