I remember i use to always see advertisements of the Bombay palace restaurant in channel 47 which was a Spanish channel but Saturday or Sunday they would show Indian films and commercial was of Bombay palace. My old man also had a Restuarant in the early 70s. Called the gulshan Indian restaurant located in 43rd n 8th Ave NYC. but failed due to lack of personal and financial reasons also indian food wasn't popular during that 70s era. I remember i use to always see advertisements of the Bombay palace restaurant in channel 47 which was a Spanish channel but Saturday or Sunday they would show Indian films and commercial was of Bombay palace. My old man also had a Restuarant in the early 70s. Called the gulshan Indian restaurant located in 43rd n 8th Ave NYC. but failed due to lack of personal and financial reasons also indian food wasn't popular during that 70s era. Mr chatwal s perfect example of America dream with hard earned money. Well done may god bring you many more years of great health !
