On boxing of the ego power multi head edger and a first time use. You will see me use the edger to edge my own yard and hear my thoughts on it. Not sponsored.
Thanks for this video. I just bought it and wanted to know how to use it because, i used to use the old school gas edgers which you would lower the blade down into the place you want to edge. When done you either use the blade lever to raise the blade up. But this looks like there is no way to lower it down or raise thr blade up. So i was confused and wanted to see how this thing is used. Looks like you start it up as you hold it up in the air and then you must lower the entire tool into grass. Interesting. But looks like it works!
I have one of this ego edger and i love it. much better than my echo gas edger, i no longer have a headace from the noise and gas exhaust. ego edger much stronger
I found the handle sits in a rare location and need to bend my back constantly. I see you are also bending your back, did you experience the same back pain?
Well, I have back pain all the time so maybe I just hadn’t noticed lol. I hadn’t notice the handle being in a different location, something to look at though. Have you seen that attachment that goes on equipment like this to reduce the bend over amount? I think it’s called the Darwin handle or something
@@ryandelk04 very nice that Darwin grip. The cost of this Darwin grip is like buying another Ego edger lol. My Ego sits in the garage due to the awkward back angle, specially that I have a corner lot.
It works well around mulch beds too, although I prefer the string trimmer around mulch beds and edger around concrete. I have deep edges around my mulch beds though.
I’m able to edge my entire driveway, sidewalk and road, then put the same battery in my blower and blow it all off. There is still charge left after that.

Thanks for making the video. Yard and house look awesome!
Thanks! Sorry the audio is a little tough on this one, I didn’t have a mic back then! Thanks for watching and thank you for the feedback!!
Edges look tight! I bought the multi head combo with the trimmer and edger...used it for the first time. ITS AWESOME! Thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching! Yeah, battery items have come along way!
Thank you so much!! This was an easy to set up with your step by step video. I highly recommend this video!! Thanks again! 🙂
Aw thank you so much! I’m glad it helped!
Multi head is the way to go! And the battery stuff is awesome. Those batteries last plenty long for any normal size yard 👍🏼
Great video, thank you. When will I need to add gear grease? Does it come shipped with the grease already in the transmission?

Easy assemble. Edger works excellent..
7:52: Is it a good tool for refining/maintaining your live edges?
That's a cool machine! Do you worry about having too many individual pieces for lawn care, or is it the more the better?
Great question JPEZ! I would like to head toward them all being the same brand, makes it easier for battery swaps!

Epic! 👍🏻
Nice thing is as a bare tool this is the same cost as just the power head alone. So this is a free edger.
Yes, great point!
@@ryandelk04 Right, edging with the bare tool is awesome!
How was it edging around that mulch bed? Work well, or is it better off by concrete?

Hey dude nobody can hear you from that far away. Buy a good mic!
Thanks, I got one now 🙌🏻✅😆 check out a more recent video and let me know if it’s better.
I don’t see anything
