Sped up isn't my cup of tea but I'm not going to whine about content. 😂😂 I let it play to the end and liked, just to help the channel. Keep doing what you're doing Ian. 👌 👍
In my father-in-law's land there is an old growth forest and there is 1 red oak That is at least 100 years old He is 87 years old and he said it is been there ever since he can remember , He was asked by a logger To cut his Property and he simply replied the Squirrels have to have somewhere to live!
The big log videos are interesting because of the huge amount of usable lumber that comes out of each log. It is also interesting to see how you optimize the cuts to reduce most of the widest boards to widths that will survive the drying process.
Nice commentary. My favorite! LOL. I see the bottom blade was walking into the log by the end of each cut. Is that feed rate or worn bearings? Also, I've been meaning to ask. Why do you use rope instead of wire rope on the carriage feed.
I prefer the sped up videos. I usually put your regular videos on 2X anyways. Kinda busy, don't have much time to enjoy full videos of anything at the moment.

For my subs!!! This was all from the OG video if you don’t like this one:)
Great piece of sawing to reduce that log to boards.

You got that right!! Those wide boards are just for looks! For that lumbers purpose, it’s better broken up:)
2:59 Everything is automatic which is great
Try showing big timbers being sawn they show the guys piling the same pieces. This will give people a better perspective of the size of the timber’s
Boy! That was quik
one swipe
then boards
good job
yee top saw blade a bit a drift
makes a raised piece on a big board
Why are your upper and lower blades offset about 1/8" from each other? Leaving a cut line at the top.
If you notice, that line comes and goes. The saws are lined up. The top of the top saw blade, floats in and out depending on my feed rate
Is the top edger cutting slightly too deep?
So I didn’t hit my feed rate correctly and the head saw didn’t lean far enough into the log at the top of the cut!
Nice boards in those logs. Too much toeout in the head saw?

I bet sawing the red oak smelled good
I thought trees this size we can only find in the amazon river

Hey I understand!! I’m more than happy to get back to them some. I just kind of got away and I was hearing more of real time videos
If this is the new speed I'm out ... good luck with that ..
It’s not. I already uploaded all of this footage in real time. I also explained what I’m doing in another video
Now it's sped up I'm done watching this between all his talking now this I'm out
You clearly didn’t watch either of my last two videos.
Adios👋👋
Who cares 😅
Good videos
