Would have added more info on the piping alignment or allowable deviation in between piping flange and pump nozzle, allowable shaft deflection during buttoning up the flanges.... Grouting details would have given more details like grouting method, clearing of blow holes or defecting grouting, final grouting....
Shouldn't we use 3D or 5D of spool for ecc red from suction?

What about cavitation formation when we use flat side bottom eccentric reducer in positive suction head.

without grouting between foundation and base you can expect excessive vibration and noise

Hi Technical Piping, i have a question: Why we should fit eccentric reducer, maybe can make avoid air pocket formation? Thanks a lot!
Old practice advised to use Ecc bottom flat but latest engineering practice says to use Ecc top flat no metter whether tank is A/G or U/G in order to avoid flowing bubbles in pump.

inclining upwards 6mm for 100 mm is wrong in.
it is 6 mm for 1000 milimeter
I am piping designer and I have worked in JGC Japan. Please improve yourself as described below.
1.Discharge piping on the nozzle is not good practice. Load on pump nozzle cause disturbance of pump alignment.
2. Reducer with pump nozzle is not good. There should be 5d straight run between Reducer and pump in order to provide turbulence free flow to pump.
3. There is to be Ecc Reducer top flat even if flow is from A/G tank.

Why don't go for bottom flat bro for eccentric reducer ?? is there any standard reason in it ??
@@samueljebaraj4742 Ecc B/F is an old practice. If you see American "piping guide" old version, there's same. However, the latest practice in most reputable companies like Technip, Bechtel, Florabia, JGC, Aramco & Adco is to keep Top flat as latest practice. The reason is to avoid bubbles generation in the upper cavity of reducer. The RPM of pump is 3000 or sometimes more, even the little quantity of bubbles attack the pump impeller like bullet which reduces the life of pump. Moreover bubble causes noise and vibration too. Piping Designing is a vast field, however Designing around pump is most easy and simple. If you are keen fully interested, we can share our views on every type of piping Designing in future.

Nag Lp it's depends on the pump nozzle size...
Pipe size selection is based on pump nozzle size, pump nozzle size is based on process flow and head requirements. Types of pump selections are different and need to consider process and site conditions

You would have to make a angular / mitered fit up at the eccentric reducer to get your slope.
