    • PIR BUDHU SHAH MARTYDO...
    • History of Pir Bhuddhu...
Sadhaura is famous in Sikh history for Pir Budhu Shah (alias Sayed Badar-ud-Din (1647-1705 CE) and his sacrifices for the cause of humanity along with Guru Gobind Singh Ji . The forebears of Pir Budhu Shah of Sadhaura were the decedents of Hazrat Ali and Fatima Bint. the nephew and daughter of Prophet Mohammad and they were called Sayeds who among the Muslims are looked upon with great respect. His ancestor named Shah Abdul Wahab Qutub-ul-Quatab (grandson of Hazrat Nizamuddin who was a close associate of Guru Nanak Sahib and Baba Farid ji, although as a distortion of History, deliberately the discrepancies in the time frame has been made, in actual Guru Nanak and Baba Farid met each other) migrated to Sadhaura from Mecca Madina on the orders of Guru Nanak and they settled in a mohalla named as Mohalla Samania which was mispronounced by the residents of Sadhaura as Mohalla Swanian. Bhagat Sadhna ji also accompanied this family to settled at Sadhaura on the advice of Guru Nanak Sahib.
