Guys are right.....fundamentals are the first step. If the receivers had simply caught the ball at an average skill level and held blocks a little better some of the games would have played out a lot differently. I'd be signing guys that have a history of good hands and/or spend a LOT of time just throwing and catching in practice. Give me a 4.6 guy that catches the ball over a 4.4 guy with the drops any day.
He went from RB coach at Miami to OC at UCF. A lot of guys will step down to a lesser school for a bigger role, the weirder thing is that he's willing to go back to a position coach again
Makes sense because they moved an analyst who used to be an ex college wr coach to assistant wr coach. Plus, it’s about offensive recruiting in south Florida which we don’t do well at all.
Man U don’t understand the ties this man have in south Florida him and his father are multiple time state champions man from Miami central Miami northwestern Miami booker t all the power house south Florida school that man have a strong blood line trust me
I don't think they would bring this guy in if they weren't sure of him. His resume is impressive to me cause he has worked his way up everywhere he has been. Let's see what he does at the next lvl 🪓🍢🪓🍢
I sure hope this guy can hire some players who can actually CATCH a dang football. Need to show them some film of Barry Smith and Fred BIletnikoff and Ron Sellers and on and on and on. We had guys who never dropped the ball. What happened? Oh yeh. Those stupid wimpy gloves ...
AVERAGE COACHING STAFF AT BEST. TC JUST ANOTHER DJU. MISTAKE PRONE. 4-8 NEXT YEAR MELTDOWN PART 2 WHILE NORVELL CONTINUES TO GET PAID $894,000 A MONTH. PATHETIC AND DISGUSTING
Can we get this video to 75 likes? 😯
Think of it this way. If Tim is a good recruiter, along with Gus calling plays, Mike may concentrate a bit on receivers. Js
Mike needs to be a CEO and let the rest coach. Interjecting when he feels hes needed or he wants something done differently would be better imo.
I think with this hire it's All about familiarity.
The main question is can they develop players

I question why Miami didn't retain him?

That is a RB coach lol. Off to a great start cinnamon rolls
But he played quarterback
I don’t like, or understand this hire at all. WR Development is critical for FSU. This is by far the worst coaching hire of this new staff.
