Good afternoon Andy, great video and a beautiful route. Some fantastic scenery along the way too, really enjoy a good distance hike video and you have done this really well, thank you. In particular the rivers and bridges caught our attention, just lovely. The helicopters were pretty cool, such a skill to fly one!
I think that does count as glamping, Baa-baa-q included in the cost too we here 🐏🔥 Have a great week, catch you again soon, Ceri and Kat 👍☕♥️🏕

Thanks for the comment, I could of been in the army air corps but decided go in the artillery instead. so I could of been a helicopter pilot instead have tinnitus from the guns, lol the good thing is there's more river walking and crossings in part 2, thanks for watching

Wow, so much amazing history packed into one area...I would need to just sit down on one of those stones to contemplate and let it all sink in. Happy for the narration as it certainly is an intriguing area. Thanks for the adventure and hope you have a wonderful week ahead...Bruce and Otis

So pleased to have come across your channel and finally sat back to watch this expedition. I was alert the whole way through it was that interesting. I agree water is amazing stuff. We are waterlings. I am right behind this river walk because I'm a river man to. Good to see the village at the start although a wrench for them at the time. It's the same in the Elan Valley a Wye tributary yet Birmingham water. Well, thanks for that - next one. Mark

Thanks for the comment, I walked the grand union canal from London to Birmingham and continued on the canals to Nottingham a few years ago, again was great to walk by water the whole route, water is a magical thing

Good stuff Andy. I’ve been looking forward to this one. I’m walking the DVHW myself in just over a weeks time. I think I’ll be starting in Shardlow though just to be awkward 😆
