I just finished creating an appliance closet in my kitchen. Hubby took a coat closet in my entry way/kitchen and made it a pantry years ago. The shelves were deep and wide so I decided to make it an appliance garage. No more bending or getting on my knees to get them out of a lower cabinet. I’m also storing my glass food storage containers in there too. Every time I open the door it makes me smile.
I use the deep cabinet above my fridge for cookie sheets, large cutting boards, roasting pans, etc. I have holders that stores everything vertically. It is a great place for all those things that are a pain when they are stored flat. This has worked really well for me. Because the cabinet is deep, everything fits and is very accessible. It's nice to see that the fruit squeezers are still with you. I remember laughing a lot in one of your kitchen videos where they kept moving around! I like the new place.
Love the video. I have those same bamboo drawer organizers and love them, I’ve been using them for 10+ years and they are just as good as the day I bought them!

I feel like “decanting” all dry goods - pasta, rice, beans, popcorn, crackers, cereal, etc etc into square and rectangle containers actually takes less storage room. You can also see what needs to be added to the shopping list. I have 2 different size colanders and 3 different size mesh strainers. We understand each other!
I believe in living in it and I am constantly reorganizing things too. It may be as simple as soap dispenser on the other side of the sink but I do it so things are always in the best place possible. I have been decluttering all day after few months of being too busy After watching I cleaned as well
Looks great! Did you consider temporarily moving your tea/coffee stash, to your drinking glass/portables cabinet. As it dwindles move it back. It won't be above your coffee/tea station, but it will be next door😊
You have the “Nessie!” I’m only slightly jealous 😆. I remember seeing ads for those years ago and still think they’re super cute, but I already have what I need.
Ugh I hate that lid for the microwave😂 I never use it. Probably because i never heat up my food hot enough for it to splatter. My bf loves it too though just like your husband✌
