I agree with you, The tractor ran horrible loading it on the trailer and with about 15 mins of some small adjustments it was running 10x better. Thank you for watching, have a good one👍
I had a 4 row cultivator on my 60. Had some trouble with the camshaft that bolted to the camshaft gear would break. Might have had some slop in the bolt hole. Easy to get to it, just unbolt the top cover of the crankcase and get yourself a mirror.
Good quick little update. The best part about these vintage of JD's is just how simple they stayed for all that time.
very true! 68 years old and still able to get parts to fix them up. Thank you for watching!
Nice! It seems that... a little love is is all it needs!
Yes sir! Little bit of TLC and this tractor will be back and ready to roll. Thank you for watching!
Can't kill these old tractors. A little bit of TLC and she's good to go! Awesome 60!
You are correct! Thank you for watching, have a good one.

It amazes me that some people can't figure out a carburetor, points and plugs on a 2 cylinder. Awesome looking 60

I have 1954 and a 1956 John Deere 60. Great tractors for our small farm.
Yes they are👍🏻 What’s do you mainly use them for?
Mostly for haying. I have a few videos of them on my RUclips channel jd60palouse.
Looks pretty good for her age - a little younger than I am. We had a model 70 when I was a kid.
The model 70s are awesome tractors👍🏻 thank you for watching

They are pretty cool with cultivators, ive got few id like to get mounted and try out sometime. Thank you for watching!
Nice score. Love those 2 cylinder John Deeres. All I have though is an electric start L, but not id tag.
I've never been around those L JDs to much but they are some cool tractors. Thank you for watching
Sounds like you will eventually have to replace the distributor. It looks like it has a couple minor leaks 😊
You are correct, im surprised it runs as good as it does with the shape of the distributor. Thank you for watching!
Grew up on a model 60 my Dad bought new in 1954. She was replaced by a 3020 in 1967.
Don’t have any experience with those models but u can never have enough jd tractors
I agree! Thank you for watching
Quite a load for a 1/2 ton truck.
