My band got to open for them on their last tour. Chicago, The West End, 1985. The owner of the club lost his mind and took a baseball bat and batted glasses, bottles, and the venues crystal chandeleir. Paul Mahern finally put an end to the chaos and tackled him. Up until that point no one knew if the Minute Men would still go on. We'd already played our set...maybe we were so bad the owner couldn't take it anymore? Ha! What a great fucking band. Cheers from a US expat on Tralfamadore!
Well I had a look and it appears the Bean-Spill B side and the Politics of Time material are from the same November '81 recording session(s), but the Joy EP is from a different session on August 1st '81
