Hello lovely feminine friends! 💛 I recognize that college (university) might be different for some this year, however this video has been requested a few times and I didn’t want to wait another year to make it lol. I also think a lot of these tips can be applied to anyone, regardless of age. 💛💛
When i was in College , i was a feminist: yeas i a dmit it; them after graduation, after to get my PhD, i began to realize how unhappy i was, hating men all the time, hating myself. I decided to change, to become more feminine, suddenly i met the man of my life, now i love to be a housewife, i cant imagine being something else
Thank you so much for these young adult series videos! I am going into my second year of university, and a lot of your videos have helped me grow into myself as a feminine woman WITHOUT succumbing to the societal pressure of being androgynous or masculine. Keep up the amazing work! :)
I’m honestly so happy to hear that! 😀I get a lot of dm’s from the younger viewers saying that they are shy to comment (which is totally ok), but I wanted to thank you for commenting 🥰💛
I was a 4.2 GPA AP student in high school, and I thought I was going to go into law. I went to a very well known private 4 year (which I could only afford because of a scholarship) for a single semester, which was all I needed to experience in order to know that it wasn’t for me. I moved back home and I’m currently in community college which I like MUCH better, and I’m on my way to becoming a nail technician, something which I can do as well as home making ☺️
I honestly feel like living at home during stressful times in life when you are young, is the best option. I was so lucky that my parents let me come back home several times - it really helps with mental health and rest. It sounds like you chose the best option for you - I am proud of you! 💛💛
I love how you said one of your purposes to attend college was because you wanted to meet your husband and get married! I am actually the same way and sometimes when I tell people that, they think I am nuts haha! Anyway, I totally agree with what you have to say and wish that more people could realize that college is such a great place to meet your future spouse!
lol people definitely do have judgments, but when you think about it rationally it makes a lot of sense. There will never be another time in your life where you will be surrounded by so many peers in your age group, who have similar interests and extra time on their hands to invest in relationships. 💛
Parking far away and stretching before bed are what I currently do. :) Great video! I’m so sad my classes are online now, how am I supposed to find a husband this way lol! I went into University a completely different person than I am now, credit to the femininity revolution. 💘
Lol things will work out in whatever timing they are meant to 💛. I’m also sad for all of you though who have to take online classes 😔😔. Also, I love that you also do what I did lol!
Great tips for me. Now I am doing my PhD that is even more stressful than University and you help me a lot. I will try to organise a uniform and to learn more about time blocking method. I do not have class now but I like to study in the library. Thank you!
A phD is definitely so challenging, however it is an amazing accomplishment!! The uniform and time blocking were the most effective things for me when I was super busy :) 💛
I just wish I was taught all of this back when I was a university student , or that I was mature enough to know all of this. Luckily, I still did know how to protect myself and work hard. Now I have a PhD in foreign literature and I did find my soul mate during my Master's degree years!! ( had to wait a long time to find THE one :) This video is wonderful, I admire what you've become because of your maturity and confidence in what you wanted to do in the future. Thank you, this was fun for me to watch at 39 years old as now a University teacher !!!! 😊
I must confess. I used to get angry at the women at my school who would mainly go to college to find a husband. It was very common for a woman who was a liberal studies major to marry someone in the business department. Fast forward the clocks 5 years after I’ve left. I don’t get angry anymore and I’m sure they probably had that in mind when they went and chose that major because they knew it was conducive to be a wife and mother. I could be wrong tho. I may be childfree (therefore, not necessarily worried about any ticking biological clocks) but I can appreciate their efforts.
Lol it is ok! I think it’s a common thought/feeling - I don’t blame anyone for it. It’s also ok to be child free, we all have our own paths and can still be feminine 😊🌻💛
@@rushmitaroy6719 Studies are luxuries for most of the women in India. I dont think so any educated woman in India would think about getting married before completing her Masters.
@@annalesewinget6792 That's true, some of my friends wants to get married soon whether many of my friends r very career conscious...I respect both of them..
As an 18 year old preparing to enter university next year, this video has been so encouraging and enlightening! Thank you for exuding authentic femininity and expressing your journey. You have inspired me for my own path of femininity.
I had the opposite of the freshman 15. The food wasn't great quality at my university so I was living off of salads, soups, and bagels and I came home for Thanksgiving ravenous for real food! I totally agree with intentionally dating and having similar goals as the other person. My boyfriend of 4 years is planning to propose sometime around when he finishes his degree next year. It's a very exciting time for both of us!
Hi Cynthia! New subscriber.. love your channel. What are your thoughts on people who assume college is a waste of time for a stay at home mom or wife? I have a bachelors of science in nursing and worked prior to my kids. I hear often “how could you work that hard to not utilize your license? “I have a different set of priorities now and believe the experience of getting an education shaped who I am today. It also helped financially set me up to be in this current position to afford to be home. I do not view it as a waste.
Hey Taylor! Nursing is a great field.. I worked full time for seven years in ortho/medical surgical, case management, and then a year in an outpatient mental health setting. I will go probably sub in my kid’s school once my daughter is in kindergarten so I can be flexible and on their schedule. I also have an interest in public health and serving the underprivileged. I am maintaining my license so that it’s hopefully easy to jump back in if I desire. We also have nurse refresher courses here in the United States if you desire to return to a clinical setting. Nursing school was tough mainly because it’s an enormous amount of information in a short period of time. I got my bachelors so first two years were pre nursing( heavy science) and last two were in the program. I did not date seriously in college and I eventually quit my onsite college job and sorority. I had a scholarship to maintain and for me the program was so rigorous I really only had time to study my final two years. It paid off though, I graduated cum laude and passed my licensing exam on the first try and had a job secured before graduation. So I would highly recommend it! You have to realize that it’s a huge commitment though, and study and work hard.. best of luck!
I think you made great decisions in my opinion 💛. It’s hard to put a blanket statement on “women not going to college”, because everyone is different. I think it’s more advisable to say it’s a good idea to make wise financial decisions and that could include attending school. I think having education can positively impact children and I don’t think it’s a waste if you decide to stay home, if anything it can put you at an advantage - an intelligent mother is always important for kids to have
Having a BSN is still super useful because then you're on top of your family's health and you know when to treat the condition at home and when it's time to see a doctor. I'm getting my BSN right now and I think it's a super useful degree no matter what you do afterwards!
@Taylor Nicole It's fantastic that you already have a plan for all of that-our minds think alike! You should definitely apply for a nursing program. I'm sure it would be a great fit! :)
Hiya Cynthia! I really love your videos and appreciated this specific one as I am in uni myself, but considering you went to med school I was wondering if you have any study tips? Or note taking tips? You must have been very smart, I would love to learn how to become a better student ❤ Just a video suggestion, you don't have to do it of course!
Thank you ❤️! Good luck!! I got into med school but left after 2 months lol (wasn't for me, but I respect everyone who it is for). I practiced the classic concentration in 20 minute intervals with short break. I also dedicated entire days to certain courses (monday - study bio, tuesday - study chem, etc.). I also followed the study tips given by a RUclips called Thomas Frank
A few of the tips are general to everyone! 🥰 If you go to the description box there are time stamps that can fast forward you to the parts that might interest you
I’m a 19 year old sophomore who transferred to university from community college. God willing I’ll find my husband AND make a good group of Godly female friends!
Wow. I really am shocked that some women are attending college as "finishing school." There seems to be a really odd type of mindset that develops from SOME traditional women and SOME feminists. I choose to REJECT BOTH SCHOOLS because I don't fit either extreme. Just because a woman thinks of herself as a traditional woman doesn't mean that she is super feminine and just because a woman thinks of herself as a feminist means that she doesn't dress and act femininely! I have absolutely NO DESIRE to look like a man or act like a man! Folks, it's the 21st century and most women are not living at one extreme of the spectrum. Getting back to the University topic.... I thought college was about gaining skills that would help a person to become a bit more educated (although not all education is found in the halls of higher learning) and hopefully gain some skills that will help one earn money in the marketplace. That's not to say that every woman who attends college must become a CEO, a physician, engineer or a lawyer. No! The good thing is that now most women (not all), do have the opportunity to consider what their natural talents are and, IF THEY DESIRE, can go to college or some other type of professional program, to learn a skill that will bring about a source of income on which she can support herself. Not all women will get married and some may find themselves in a situation where their husband decides or she decides to divorce. Some degrees will help a woman to obtain a certain level of self-reliance and that is generally the purpose for attending university. My Mother encouraged me not to date during undergraduate study as she knew many women drop out of college and get married. There is nothing wrong with getting married, but I wouldn't give up my education to get married. She was right! I got the degree and ten years later I found a wonderful man and we dated for several years. I got married at age 45 and I wouldn't change a thing! By the way, being a feminist doesn't mean that you hate men, you hate children, you don't clean your house, and you refuse to cook! I believe I have the best of both worlds because I have a great husband who supports my work just as I support his work, and he helps me with some of the housework. I don't expect my husband to decorate our home, make layer cakes and do other things that most men wouldn't want to do or feel comfortable doing. We don't have to compete because when you love one another, you support the goals of your spouse. My husband is fed, clothed and a very masculine guy who knows how to be a gentleman.
