Hi!! Use various setups. For peacock I like the medium light redbone, or a medium light fenwick inshore rod. For reel you can use any 1k,2.5k reel. Now in using the @floridafishingoroducts Bahia!
The 3000 reel is fine. I don’t necessarily like the medium heavy action due to the type of lures I cast. It’s going to be hard to cast 1/8th 1/16th weight lures on that rod. But you can find a medium or medium light rod for cheap at most tackle shops.
