We use a muslin 80x80 flat folded into a pad with a microfiber booster sandwiched between the layers and a small flannel flat as the bottom layer. This lasts all night for my 7.5 month old son. Took some trial and error and when he was waking often to nurse we changed him once. We love our cloth nappies and use the flats also during the day.

Thank you so much for these great videos, I’ve been looking at cloth nappies for weeks and got so confused about types, what’s best ect but those videos are great at explaining with visual.

How reliable would you say the Close nappy with a booster is compared to a fitted nappy? I'm really trying to avoid velcro as I just can't stand it on nappies!

Personally id say a fitted nappy is your best bet for lasting fully through the night. There are popper fitted nappies! We use Ellas House Bumhuggers which are hemp (holds more pee than bamboo but absorbs it slower) and we find them great! Some good wraps as well to fit over would be petite crown catcher, petit lulu pull up and wool covers (that you would have to lanolise so that they are waterproof)

Super helpful. Thank you. I am using cloth in the daytime for my daughter, and wanting to start nightime. Using the combo of a tots bots bamboozle and a petit lulu cover, doesnt that make the baby really hot? Quite alot of layers!

Hi, I’m not an expert in this area but just wanted to say the nappies are designed to be breathable so your little one shouldn’t be too hot on a warm night, especially if she’s just wearing a nappy in warm weather ☺️

Can I leave the same nappy on all night or do I have to change my baby? She doesn’t poo in the night any more

Yes, in that case that is absolutely fine. You'll just need to ensure you have enough absorbent layers to hold the wee through the night :)
