Well guys it's gonna be -20 windchill this weekend so I'm guessing it'll be all the way down to 65 down there, LOL! Can't wait for the open house, we'll see you soon!

It will be one of the coldest Christmas recorded here, at least 50! Very excited to see you guys soon.

    Very nice gauge!
But unfortunately you can not keep connector in OBD when you close the car. The alarm will go off.
    Is there any solution?

So far we haven't had any issues with the gauge and alarm going off. Reach out to our sales team and they can help look into that for you.

Spoke to the guys at P3 and they have advised the following: The alarm is getting triggered from the OBD2 monitor in your car checking the network once the car is locked. (the car doesn't want to see any foreign traffic on the network) A few modern cars do this although most do not.
There are 2 ways around this -
You can code it out with Bimmercode (for BMW) or an equivalent software. Here's a video showing how to do that - m.ruclips.net/user/shortsholknjAN4ao?feature=share
You can cut the red power wire on the gauge's harness and run it to a switched power source. The OBD2 port has constant power (meaning it has power all the time)
If you do this you will also want to change your power control option from "Pco.A" to "Pco.S" in the config menu.

@@UroTuningOfficial I have the same issue with the alarm on my 2024 G80. The link to code it out via Bimmercode you have above doesn't work. Would you know the setting by any chance please? Thank you
