Devil Pushup Challenge!

  • My athletes will certainly remember this brutal pushup variation. Give this one a shot in your next workout, bonus points if you video it and tag me.
    Perform 3 sets of 6 reps with a 6-6-6 tempo
    6 seconds lowering
    6 sec pause at the bottom
    6 seconds on the way up
    Here are a couple important tips:
    🔺Keep your abs braced and maintain a straight line from head to heels the whole time
    🔺Go through a full range of motion (no half reps!)
    🔺Use a bench, box or rack to elevate your hands and make it easier if you can’t do them on the floor. Better to do full reps elevated than cheat reps on the ground
    🔺Count in full seconds (one-one thousand..)
    🔺Maintain that 6 second tempo on the way up...embrace the suck!
    🔥If you can complete 1 set on the ground with perfect tempo wearing a weight vest (10lb for ladies, 25lb for men) and tag me in your video I’ll send you a free “Don’t Talk About It Be About It” t-shirt for being such a bad ass!
