I held my fingering double for my Soldotna. I posted it in disord. I used like 190 g of my white colourway, and the only 100 grams of the burn amber, and like 50 grams of the other two colours, I did not make it crap its longer and I made size 4, I still need to block it out yet

Ok my favorite sisters I have a question! I have never done color work but I really want to make the top Jamie is making! Do you think it would be ok for a first color work knit?
yes!!! It's very very fun to do and you're only ever working with 2 colors at a time. Just be mindful of your gauge because people tend to knit color work much tighter than their regular Guage, especially if you're new to colorwork. follow her guidelines for gauge!
We have smoke from your fires here in Montana. The smoke is bad here, and not only are we under flood watch because of snow melt and high water, we have air quality alerts because of the smoke. Hoping that the isn't a foreshadowing of summer 2023.

The smoke reached as far as southern Nebraska yesterday. Air quality was at the dangerous level last night. Looked like we had fires in our backyard.
