Thank you so much Steve for sharing, loved it, you do a great job. You do keep me up to date with what happens in Malta and love your walks around the island. Keep it up and all the best from Sydney Australia.

"TO BEAR WITNESS TO A HEROISM AND DEVOTION THAT WILL LONG BE FAMOUS IN HISTORY 🥉 ➕ ". 🇬🇧 👑 🇲🇹. EXCELLENT vlog Steve and very moving for me because my late ex "Royal Malta Artillery" Dad (32 yrs service) was part of " it all" like many others like him 🙏. . I expected bigger crowds but was celebrated in Marsa instead of Valletta because the former is " Maltese City of Culture 2022'. Those 'bag-pipes' were amazing 🎶. PROSET to the organisers 👏. LEST WE FORGET. THANKS STEVE 🚶🎥 👏👏👏.. Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ♥ 🇬🇧 ™.
@@EnglishmaninMalta I'm sure you're aware there's small group that call themselves 'patriotic' (?) MALTESE who want the George Cross removed from our flag. It was a "mistake" and an "insult" to our war veterans to remove the blue background as it was. "LEST WE FORGET 🇲🇹 🙏" Cheers 👍 🇲🇹 ♥ 🇪🇺 ™.
Thanks for sharing. My parents lived in Malta -Qormi to be exact, during WWll. In the 50s they moved to Canada where my younger brother and i were born. They encouraged us to learn and experience our Maltese heritage. Proudly, we are now dual citizens of Malta and Canada.
Mary 🇦🇺🙋♀️ this has to b one of my favourite video of yours with tears I’m watching, so proud of Malta and it’s people, my dad was in army in world war 2 my mum and dad were married at that time, in Malta, well done Steve and many thanks,💖💖🇲🇹💖💖🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️👍👍👍
Hey Steve , nice video , the pipes 🥰 , when in school we had chanter lessons to learn, I could have played you a tune 😜 sadly they offered to buy my chanter back 🙄😂
The Maltese demonstrated incredible resilience and bravery, always short of food and supplies as they resisted an onslaught of Nazi aggression. The award of the George Cross was never more deserved.
Nice one Steve, love the bands, My friend has a shop in Marsa thought I may see him but no luck, I think he would have been closed at that time. Enjoyed your Marsa church video, it's a beautiful church. Good ceremony, and lots of subscribers. 😊😊

Good vlog as usual, informative and interesting - I have never seen such a grand display of tick tocking that brought back memories of square bashing.
Glad you enjoyed it
Very sad to see such a small crowd attending this special celebration. What has happened to the patriotic people of Malta??
