It wasn't too bad out there, Jeremy! Always love a bit of slomo as you know my friend! It was fantastic to get to spend some time with Alf, he sure was a massive help! Cheers! 😎👊👍
Nice mods on this tt02 Mark! It’s a proper rally machine now with the increased ride height and suspension travel. Awesome run footage by your son too.👍😊
Thanks a ton, Sean! This really did need those mods because as you know, I do like a bit of rallying! My son Alf says "cheers" for the nice comment! 😎👊👍
What a lovely TT-02. Recently got to take my TT-02D out for a run after the weather cleared up a bit here in the North East. Great little chassis for someone like me getting started. I was a bit shocked at how quickly my Sport Tuned silver can with the high speed spur took off.
Hi Chris and thanks, I'm really pleased with how this TT02 came out! Good to hear you got a gap in the weather, we seem to have nothing but rain 🌧 at the moment 😀! Sounds like you have got your TT02 sorted nicely! Cheers! 😎👍
Hey there Mark! It was great to meet your son! He seemed to enjoy this fun little whip! Is he in the hobby as well? Love scene 6:39 as it looked so realistic to me! What a great little car Mark!👊🏼😎✌🏼
Thanks a ton Robby! Yeah it was awesome 👌 sharing some time with my son! He was in the hobby but has no time now he's doing a Degree in Astrophysics!!! Hope he picks it up again later 🙏 But yeah I love the scale realism of these rally cars. Cheers bro!!! 🤗🤝👍
Hi Craig and glad you enjoyed it my friend! Oh boy it was great to have Alfie home and to spend some quality time together ❤ 🤩 and as a bonus we get to see his awesome camerawork! 👌 Get that rally TT02 underway dude! Cheers 🍻 mate! 😎🤝👍
Ah yes some great Friday entertainment to enjoy with a beer there mate. Good to see Alf back and helping out on the camera. You have got some great suspension travel on that. I find it's a toss up (ooh matron) between getting ground clearance and being able to corner on a high traction surface without it rolling over. I've kept my XV-01 low and it's fine on short grass at the golf course. If I'm going on rougher ground I take a buggy or truck that has a bit more ground clearance. Anyway that Subaru really looks the business and like I say a great vid to start Friday evening. Have a good one mate 😁👍👍
Hi there Pete and glad you enjoyed it with a beer! Best way to watch RUclips! It was lovely having Alf back home to play with and a bonus that he's such a good cameraman (he drives and RC better than me, too!!!) Yeah it can be a trade-off with ride height and C-of-G but this seemed pretty good, I like to run my rally cars on the loose anyway because they just look so good and very scale in the right setting! Hope your weekend is a good one my friend! 😎👌👍
Hey Mark, the Subaru is looking pretty cool and the chassis mods and that Absima motor, certainly help it perform 😊😊I really like the body colour too, suits you sir ! 😂😊😂 I hope that you and the family are keeping well, take care 😊😊
Hi John and thanks for the fine comments. The Absima motor definitely gives this car the speed boost it deserves! Haha yes the colour certainly suits you Sir!! 🤣 Ooooooh!!! Same here, hope you're all doing well! Cheers 🍻 😎👍
Cracking vid Mark and Alfie love the suspension travel making this more off road worthy! Crappy weather you ain't joking my friend! Iol we might have to look into RC boats at this rate! Great stuff mate have a great weekend cheers James. 👍🍻😉
RC boats - you got that right James! 😅😬 I think we need RC submarines! 😜 It was great getting out the and having some fun with Alfie! And yeah that suspension made all the difference! The weekend was good thanks pal, hope things are looking up for you down there! 🤞🤗👊👍
@MarkBryanRC Thanks Mark yeah RC Subs lol yeah getting that way! all good mate! sold a few cars that's helped financially but don't worry l still have my favourite ones left but damn my fleet is a little smaller lol but more important Health is getting better too and lzzy is doing great after her op! its all going in the right direction but this month is going to be a struggle we have the car MOT next lets hope for a little good luck! But yeah what don't kill us makes us stronger! Hope alls well with you guys and all our best to you all from us down here! Cheers James and Shelly xx
Awesome combo, Mark! Looks beautiful sliding around in that gravel and nice plush suspension 👍 I'm thinking of doing a Stratos TT02 build.. not too many of those out there, but I see the bodies around the web. Cheers and always cherish that father & son time!
Thanks dude! Oh yes we really enjoyed running the little Scoobie out there 😀! Wow, I'd love to do a Stratos body for this, too, such a beautiful design! I always cherish time with my son, he's a great kid! Cheers 🍻 😎👊👍
Very good upgrades Mark , I love that red chassis , its de standard piece of the tt02 Mazda 3. Body also amazing looking good👍 Go on mate Greetings Fons ✌️
That was awesome. Really like the scale way this looks out there running. amazing what a little thing like putting a wire between the body posts does to the look. It was WAY more steady looking out there. Great video Mark. :)
Hi there Nick! Yeah I love the scale look of these rally cars! I just couldn't have that rear end flapping about, that would spoil that scale realism! Thanks as always my friend! 😎👍
Looks amazing. Loved that slow motion jump and suspension action. I need longer shocks for my rally build. Mini CVAs are just too short for off road. Pulled the lower shock ball stud out of the rear arm last weekend from the rear bottoming too frequently.
Thanks, glad you liked it, those slomo shots were my favourite as well! Ah, yes the super mini CVAs are too short (55mm) but the mini CVA shocks (Part number: 50519) are adjustable from 55mm to 70mm so should be able to be made to work! Cheers! 😎👍
Thank you kindly, Sir! Yep the TT02 deserves a few hop-ups! It was a pleasure to spend some quality RC time with Alfie, too bad he's gone back up to Liverpool to finish his Astro Physics Degree! Clever boy! 😎👌👍🏼
Hey Mark!! Great work on the upgrades and rally mods mate. 👌 The stock TTO2 Is possibly the worst car I've ever driven, but you have really turned this platform around by the looks of it! I'm thinking the imoroved steering links and dampers have made a lot of difference, and that motor certainly brings this thing to life! Loving the red chassis and white shocks! 😍 The body looks sweet, and those headlights just finish it off! Great camera work Alf, and also a rather grand roll over or two of your fathers pride and joy!! (don't worry, Rob would have done exactly the same! 😉) Some great rally action footage for sure, especially the air time slow mo as it quite literally 'flew' past that tree, Pete wylie style! 😂 Would love to see this in some kind of rally trials against the mighty XVO1, and the Fazer mk2 rally...... which do you think would come out on top? 🤔 Anyway guys, great to see you found a gap in the rain..... what is going on with our weather these days? Surely it must start getting better soon? 🤔 Excellent video as always buddy. 👍 👍 👍
Hi there James! Thanks for the great comment mate. Yep this TT02 now drives like i would expect a rally car to! Not that much work to be honest, it's the little things that make all the difference - like you say, shocks and links. Glad you like the colours and the Scoobie body. I'm dead chuffed with it myself! Haha, yeah i had to leave those clips of Alf rolling the car so I could feature him in the video! Rob would have definitely rolled it more! That jump (Pete Wylie style) past the tree was a lot of fun, I need to find some more jumps to try this car on for sure! Great fun! I reckon the Fazer would toast my TT02 but It'd be fun to pit them against each other to see the differences. Yep we had this one dry day and then it started raining again and has barely stopped since! Cheers my good friend! 😎👊👍
Hello Mark and Alfonthecamera🙋♀️🤠. Nice camera work Alf👌🏆. That looks really nice in the colours Mark and you nailed the suspension set-up, 25mm is awesome!,it went really well out there Cobber. Nice to see father and son out RC'ing together👍. Sheila and I wish you both a fantastic weekend and thankyou for sharing your video fella's👍😁🙋♀️🦘🇦🇺

We hope your weekend was a cracker! 🤗👊👌🙏😉👍
Beautiful kit Mark!!!! Man she's fast dude!!!! That Absima Thrust Eco 15 Turn brushed motor is a BEAST!!!! When did we start this "first" stuff again? LOL.
It sure is a beauty Bob!!! 😍 Yep that Absima is a cracking little motor for the money 💰 maybe a bit too fast for rally 🤔 I think Paul C started the first stuff again 😅 ATB brother!
Cheers mate! Yes, I want to see your TT02 hitting the rally stages! Not sure about that steering mod, i think I've messed with this chassis enough! 😅 Take care my good friend! 😎👊👍
Some great footage there lads, your suspension modifications looks like they work a treat, it's got that realistic rally car movement to it, like the XV01 does, if u know what I mean, she looks quite brisk aswel 👍, wunder if there's anyway of making the tamiya Mk2 escort have more suspension travel 🤔
Many thanks, Carl! Yep, I was chuffed with how well the suspension worked, it's set-up pretty soft and I think it was the right way to go. Definitely more like an XV01 than a stock TT02 now! Ah, the MF01X, I did try to get more travel out of it but the dogbones kept escaping! Best keep it stock in my opinion. Cheers mate! 😎👌👍
Awesome stuff fellas! That Subee looked right at home out there, Mark. My fav was hearing Alf as he's recording and you're drifting a turn in the gravel: "that's cool." 😊 You've done an excellent job getting that TT,02 up to rally spec. I wonder how it would fare against the Kyosho FZO2 Rally??? 😉🤔🤔🤔
Hey there Fil! Yeah we were chuffed with how well the mods have worked on this Scoobie 😀! It was a real treat to be able to share some quality time with Alf, and it is always nice to be able to hear him on camera too! Thanks my friend Dirk! This Absima motor is awesome 👌 for such a cheap price! Haha 😄 yeah definitely Group B!!! Cheers 🍻 😎👍
