I first authenticated it at ministry of education,then they gave me an eligibility letter to take to ministry of Foreign affairs,where I now legalized it

For someone not residing in Nigeria, having all his documents initially authenticated in Nigeria but they are with him abroad, can he sort out the authentication issue with the Austrian embassy in his country of residence?

Pls I have a Bsc in Geology but it's a Pass and I'm over 40 already. Is there a path I can follow in Austria like a Grad Cert, PGD or something? Or should one just start a fresh BSc?
Try applying for both masters and pgd there
Moving with family to Austria your partner can work, however once the partner gets a job it will be subject to LMA. For the embassy you only have to proof enough funds for 1year. All members of the family must legalize their docs as applicable. The partner and other family member applies for resident permit- family community while the student applies for residence permit - student.
It's advised if you plan to move with family your partner should start looking out for jobs or apply for job seeker visa.

@@achonwa001 your academic documents need to be endorsed by ministry of education and foreign affairs and non academic docs would only be endorsed by ministery of foreign affairs. All these you'll submit at the embassy for verification and further endorsement.
Hi pharm, do you mean that as a dependant to someone moving to Austria on a student visa i have to not just legalize my marriage certificate, i have to legalise all my school documents as well even though im not the school applicant?

For someone outside Nigeria, can the person use the MOE and MOFA in the country they're in or do one need to send the documents for legalisation in Nigeria? I didn't quite get that in the beginning 🙏
We did explain that it has to be in the country you live. So the country you are at the moment
You have to authenticate in the assigned ministry in the country where the documents was issued.
More importantly go through the Austrian embassy as advised for proper guidance.
Please, I have a DIPLOMA IN WELDING AND FABRICATION ENGINEERING, want to go for B.sc in ENVIRONMENTAL AND ENGINEERING in FH Vorarlberg University of Applied sciences. I don't know if I need a SECOND LANGUAGE for this.

There is a new Regulation now for Austria. Students are being asked for a second language. You have to have English and then another language for BSC applicants but for MSc, the language requirements can be waived after checking your documents. PS: I’m doing my double degree in Austria now, starting a 3rd in October(Winter semester). I’m also a member of the ÖH in my University.

Please, I did all my legalization both at the ministry of education and ministry of foreign affairs in 2021 when I applied to study in Spain. These documents were duly legalized in the Spanish embassy too.

For Nursing try UNICAMILLUS IN ITALY. They have English nursing/Medical courses.
