great job James, another solution is just to drill a small 3/8 in hole in the bottommost threaded bolt hole. That way you just remove only the bottom bolt for the cover and the oil comes out right in plain sight, dont even have to push the pan under the machine.

This is so weird. Last night for some strange reason I was thinking I hadn't seen any vids from you in a long time. Good to see your back, love your work.

You could epoxy a magnet to that bottom plug sure be handy to look at when you pull it out. Since you didn't say anything about it I'm sure it's just the picture but on this computer looked like that oil come out of there had water mixed with it.

Never could understand why they never put in A drain plug. Maybe they were afraid if it coming loose And leaking? Well whatever the reason I like your idea. Love old Cub Cadets. Thanks for you videos, Nice getting tricks And ideas.

"That's what holds this part and have to take this off and then have to move this. Probably could remove this but dont even mess with that. I dont have to take this off but did take that off, was going to take that off but then need to take this off"
Good grief. Never write a repair manual. It will be like the ones we get with china stuff
