I have made alot of stuff in the past. I will have to say the box and dowels made a great visual. And even though it was not wanting to stay in the correct angle that actually helped me for one understand the position importance. Hope you're still doing videos have not seen one in a while.
Good enough detail... though man sir, that mock up is DIY great detail. I only have a 107... or for the most part all with a stash I've not gotten the rest of the parts yet from. I plan to put an opposed twin B&S in also. Wasn't thinking you're part of the gaywad jihad bunch of insurgents or whatever the temple diocese titles of nobility they are things. Glad to see all the rescue videos of the saved custom re-purposed made in the US products... even if you might have to use some others materials/parts I didn't notice. Challenging the false sense of entitlement and awareness types with throw away mentalities. Will be neat to see what I move forward on this summer season. Thanks for sharing!
Hey there, thanks for the vid. You did real good in explaining the foot pedal install. The mock-up details was great also. You have the quiet line series and I don't, but this helped explain what I needed to do mine. I have a handful of cubs and plan to restore some of them soon. I plan to put the hydro pedal on the left side b/c I have installed dual break pedals on the right side for steering assistance while using the front loader. I will draw this up in my CAD software so that I can get exact fit and see if the ratio is right for me on the pedal. Things I don't have is the lathe and mill.I'm new to having my own RUclips channel and will be posting some vids this year on my restorations and up grades. Will get back to ya later with a link to my channel.
I want to convert my old 1810 to foot control.. the ones on the dash make it harder to control since I am going to add a hydraulic lift for a front push blade,
I used to work at a rental store and we had a little tractor called a "Tuff Bilt, it had a loader on it and it was totally hydraulic and it had the pedal an it worked very good, so I want to put a push blade on this one I have most all the stuff to put the blade on, I think anyway.
I have a couple of cylinders that came off of Bolens tractors, my plan is to just use one cylinder , all i am wanting it a push blade. I'll look for your video.
You are so right but you need a way to control it with your foot for instance when going forward and when you get ready to stop you don't want the heel of your foot trying to pull it back in neutral when you release the pressure with your foot it will automatically return to neutral position then rather trying to pull it back up with the heel of your shoe that's why the neutral spring is important thank you for your question
JAMES johnson I'm definitely not hating on you because I really enjoy all your videos. I'm just asking because I'm about to start a front loader project on one of my garden tractors. Not sure what I'm gonna use yet because a got quite a few of many different brands. I just know I want foot control to free up my right hand for the loader valve. So I'm wondering why you don't just use the neutral/brake pedal on the left side. My father in law has a nice kubota garden tractor that I use sometimes. It has foot forward/reverse controls with the auto neutral and my calf gets tired using that thing cause I always have to hold it. Again, I'm a big fan of your videos, keep up the good work and thanks for your input.
The reason why my foot control is on the right because my brake pedal was on my left from the factory I could have put it on my left it would have been added work and now I will have to remodel find my break thank you for asking

The guy is highly skilled.
thank you very much
I got a 1250 does it work the same way that one does
Great job and awesome mock-up!

+Steve Winter I'll be looking forward for your video to see what you have done.
Great mod!
Excellent explanation.

The foot pedals are really nice it will free up extra hand and you won't regret it get er done
I used to work at a rental store and we had a little tractor called a "Tuff Bilt, it had a loader on it and it was totally hydraulic and it had the pedal an it worked very good, so I want to put a push blade on this one I have most all the stuff to put the blade on, I think anyway.
that is what I'm doing I just ordered one cylinder I already have one a couple more weeks I will probably have a video

I believe you enjoy a push blade it is something you can use around the house get er done
I made a two pedal set up for my 129, and want to make one for my 147. I have a few sort vids here on youtube.
Think I'll make mine like that.
that would be very cool thanks for watching
Why make a "return to neutral" spring system? Theres no return to neutral when it's hand control on the dash.

Jhitt79....ive got a danco loader unit on a 149 hydro...do you know if the loader frame is in the way of putting a 3 point hitch on a 149?
