Good video, but I think Lethal Tempo are stronger on him. I only get Conquer when the enemy team are mostly tank.

"Aatrox is a stack stick" meh so is any other champ not a reason to delete him. Old Aatrox was good he did good damage he had survivability, Mobility he could duel and not heavily rely on his abilities like this shitty new riventrox. He had good poke with his E and you could build ap or ad.
why do they rework a champion when he is in the best spot he has ever been in?
Yeah, the Guinsoo and Titanic build are very strong on him right now and he can become very strong in lane. He's just like Renekton, strong in lane and on, but the game go too long, he kinda useless in combat unless they got no C.C.

Yea, I understand that. He is a very good bruiser and almost impossible to 1v1 when got blood well up.
That’s the thing. The meta right now is god tier for Aatrox, but that’s the problem. It’s about what’s OP. What’s OP right now are the current runes and items that synergizes with his kit. Which is why executioner’s and bramble vest completely negate him before season 8.
That’s the thing, Aatrox has a straightforward playstyle, land the knock-up and go from there. He does not have as much burst as other/better options, not tanky enough without at least 1 actual tank item(which is why you only engage at certain points like an assassin), and just utterly negated against CC. You may argue that every champ gets negated against cc, but what can he offer other than tanking dmg and heal? If you want 1v1 potential then there are better options, if you want tank-sustain then there are better options, if you want freelo then there are certainly better options.
The point is, he’s good at certain places, but once the meta shifts like it always does... Aatrox WILL disappear once again. Aatrox being God tier for 5 straight patches was like a blessing to us Aatrox mains, but now it’s time to say goodbye. I’m glad that he went out guns-blazing before he dies...
This WAS his masterpiece, and I hope you witnessed it before he’s gone.
He's actually in a terrible spot right now where either he get stupidly ahead, or simpley feeds the enemy none stop all game. When a character has those two extremes, it's time to change them. I don't like WHAT they did to him in the rework, but I do agree Aatrox was simply not good as he was.

I greatly dislike the rework not just because of them changing his voice and game play but also because the new Aatrox is just bad all on its own.
riot logic old aatrox is still good in the hand of someone who can play good with it
Aatrox in the patch you play can solo dragon at level 2 and start killing it after dragon comes up and using 2 smites.

I was messing around with tahm in aram with hail and went titanic and rageblade so with new rageblade giving full stacks after 3 for melee and hail gets u the first 3 instantly do u think the build would work on the rift

Congrats for realising that Aatrox is OP, quite late though, he is getting a rework that will delete Aatrox forever. If only the community realised that he was an attackspeed fighter that was able to tank with lifesteal (and not tank items)... He would haven't got a rework. So sad for losing the best champion in League. RIP.

Hey Mike, love your vids - u rock, man. But i gotta tell you... This build is suck. Aatrox is my favored champ, play him a lot - 7th rank. Try this build - Conq, triumph, bloodline, last stand. Second sorcery - Nimbus, Celerity or GS, no matter. BOTRK, Ginsoo, Mallet, Visage, Tabi(Merks is CC is hard), last item is your choice. U don't need to swich to heal mode - with BOTRK+Bloodline u actualy can't die in duel.

Aatrox isnt even bad i dont understand why riot wants to rework him... i hate his rework he doesnt feel like aatrox anymore. Meanwhile other champs actually need a rework but they dont get one.
