I'd I carried a game recently with dar against a 20 kill botlane. I think they honestly win here if Dar builds better. Obviously he's doing a meme build for the content but this build is a huge throw in this game specifically. It's for fun though. It's not like Mike doesn't know that... I mean he even commented on how useless that crit bleed item was several times. Replace that with like a sundered sky here and replace the PD with a deadmans/FoN and game goes much differently. Also Mike's darius is high diamond/master level, so idk I guess he really got lost in the sauce with the damage output on the sona and got super baited by the seraph's. I think the weird build probably threw his game sense off; as a darius enjoyer I can say you kinda go based on feel with your ults and I think the crits throw your internal game sense off because you're outputting way more damage than the normal build so you have way less bleed stacks so the ults doing less than he expects and he's not getting resets. If he's got sundered sky and maybe mercs+ saves his flash to jump on ashe in fights I think he takes 3 with him in a lot of the 1v4 and 1v5s here which buys his team time. Also, not really his fault at the end of the day. Darius into fed Ashe and Sona. MF loses fights hard against aatrox yorick since Aatrox is super mobile and yorick gets a free E since she has to stand still for ult. With darius fights are always going to be back to front unless you're tanky and they have a tank that you can 5 stack on easy and won't deal a lot of dmg back (which wasn't the case here, yorick and aatrox do insane damage). So when diving backline with ghost on a flank Sona+Ashe+Azir peel makes it so much harder for darius to kill their backline before Aatrox kills his. And Azir+Ashe+Yorick is pretty nuts in a siege so you basically never have map pressure if you decide not to fight. This game specifically just seems so hard to win.
I have a question about your first kill. This merely a lesson for me and not criticism on you. Would the best play be to not burn flash? My rationale is that he is pushed out of lane at that point. If he doesn’t die, then he has to recall, you get to proxy 1 wave, and you’re back to lane before he can crash it. Then you get the kill? I see that you forced the kill he lost a lot and you got first blood. What is the most optimal play in your opinion? I love your videos. I’m trying to get better at decision making. Thank you!
I'm by no means an amazing player, but I think I'm a pretty good top laner when it comes to analysis at least. I get nervous in-game and make bad decisions lol but I have good understanding of lane dynamics so I can try to explain my thought process. I think there are a few things that make the flash play okay there. I think the first thing is that you're not flashing hoping to kill, you're flashing for a literal guaranteed kill because you know you're in range to auto and he's confirmed dead. So the situation becomes: flash for guaranteed kill or flash and maybe bleed kills 50% of the time depending on if he has health pots. I think where you might be overlooking something is that he has TP up and it's only first cannon wave. In top lane, you generally don't face a ton of pressure from jungle unless you're way out of position, so using flash early for guaranteed first blood gold is pretty worth since you really don't need flash to escape a gank from a yorick until like 5 minutes. By then, flash is already halfway back up since you're using it before 3 minutes. You know you won't get ganked yet because yorick most likely started red and is full clearing up, so he won't be there til after he clears crab. However, you can potentially expect him topside around the 3:15 mark if that's the case. Also, you need to factor in that Aatrox has TP up, so actually if you push him out of lane or kill him the result is the same for him, I mean if you rewatch aatrox respawned and tped back in time to catch the wave since it was a cannon wave. if you try to proxy there and he tps back and yorick is top side, you end up dying there even if you saved flash. So I think most optimal play is to do what he did and guarantee the TP by burning flash to kill then just backing to avoid a potential yorick gank. Then you get a buy and since it's early you have an early item advantage on aatrox and you can snowball.
I still like the puns. I miss when people used to donate the puns and dad jokes.
Beep boop, I'm a bot. I detect bald. This video is.....98.5% bald. The remaining is......1.5% gnome.
Bi bu bu bop, bu bip?
I almost got here before the bots
Found this through the short, so I'm going in with a spoiler. Woof woof woof! Get the maiden too
This looks like all my darius games. You get 10 kills top. Enemies come from bot with 20 kills

@@MJ-mi9qc thank you! I didn’t even think about that. Makes sense when you break down jungle pathing and the TP
