It makes me miss my mom. I remember her watching this weird show on weekends in syndication and wondering what the hell she was watching. I finally sat down to watch it with her and was hooked, the way I fell in love with most of the sci-fi shows I find myself reminiscing about.
My condolences. I'm exactly the same. Me and mom sat and watched sci fi together and it was how her love of the genre was passed on to me. This show, Babylon 5, Treks And Wars of course, Dr. Who, and any cheesy 80's/90's sci fi movies. Pretty much were fixtures on the couch every weekend cuz I'd get up and watch cartoons, of course, and after they were over, we'd spend all day watching shows from afternoon fare like Hercules: The Legendary Journeys and Time Trax on PTEN (along with a bunch of others on the psuedo-network, precursor to UPN and WB) to DS9 and Fox's latest offering after dinner time. Just great times all around!

I watched this tv series in 2000-2001. The series was the best I have ever watched in my life. I hope some producer would remake this program respecting the legacy left by Roddenberry.

S.G series just got a tad to out of hand. There seems to be many S.G's popping up. That's one series which lost me. As for Alien Nation, it seemed interesting at first, then like most alien series, they drifted back into the farthest regions of space, soon to be forgotten. Thanks for sharing this track!

Perhaps you should incorporate the jingle that plays in the final scene of the series where Liam and Renee blast off into space with the Taelon mothership. I thought that ending music was quite lovely. And of course the title theme rocks.

It took me a while to warm up to the show. But then I got into it. It was outstanding...... until.. they killed off the lead character. I turned it off and never went back
@ZeroCGR2 it was on TV in Romania a while ago, as far as I know it was a low budget show yet the special effects weren't bad at all, and it had a story, a lore of it's own, I loved the show, nonetheless the OST is very good too...also love Stargate, both SG1 and Atlantis, thinking about picking them up again, from the beginning...and than SG-Universe, is it still being made btw?, with so many shows canceled lately i wouldn't wonder if that was canceled too...
@priyahthewhite That isn't what I'm talking about really though. Prior to 0:46 it bear no resemblance, it doesn't sound like an extended theme, it sounds like another piece tacked on. Also, the pause between the violin end and the start of the original main theme should be eliminated, it changes it makes it awkward. Have the violin stay in and follow the vocalist, it'll make the transition (which was cool) work . Also, the repetition at the end is rather pointless and adds nbthing to the piece.

It is a great show... at least the firs 4 seasons are pretty good... Every season being worse than the one that followed... Season 5 is un-watchable it is so bad.

Pretty, but they don't fit together well, the first section has a completely different mood, and while the transition is handled well it's supposed to be an extended version so completely changing the mood of the piece to extend it just doesn't fit.

A whole 20 minutes? Thats hardly any time at all. You need to learn how remixes of songs are actually done, then go back and try again. 2. Your young age of 22 also reveals some of the ineptitude. Most 22 year olds are artistic zeros. I know, I teach them engineering. 3. I could do better easy
All you're doing is looping some parts over and over again. It has the same effect as spreading too little butter over too much bread. You end up starving the listener. I'm not impressed.

Season One was awesome. Seasons 2-4 were increasingly "meh." Season 5 was an insult to fans, the production team, and television in geneal

This show is better than Stargate Atlantis though admittedly only the first season or two are any good.
