The Gem is so cute & ecclectic looking. Way different than typical golf carts I've seen & serviced/repaired in S. Tx. I love the build RB. If I was 30 years younger, I'd be your intern. But I'm an old retired, handicapped feller & can't see to good neither. 😎 Peace!
I love this build....the vehicle is so quirky and weird, and now it's got the ol' Redbeard touch! I'm guessing it'll hit 55mph. I'm REALLY anxious to hear that exhaust....it's easy to make a small engine loud....but hard to make it quiet and still perform.
those reverse boxes are pretty good for being a 30 series my stage 2 no governor 420 rides flawlessly now that i got my gearing sorted had to go up on the trans input the 9 tooth that was on it just caused chain slip and stretch. but with a 20 tooth on the input sure the speeds decreased but she pulls wheelies with the gearing change and no chain slip
That was a wonderful scripture you quoted. I think sometimes i need to hear it more often. In todays world with evil so rampant, my first reaction is to fight it with more evil. I am wrong. Thank you brother.
Nice job on the build! Looks great but, it’s too bad you couldn’t add an external alternator to keep the battery charged and to maybe add additional lighting later on down the road.
Nice that someone is doing a electric to gas as that's going against the trend .e stuff might be the future but without a exhaust note they are just dead to me...😁
There is such a tool as a cv axle separator. It looks like a 10 to 12" x 1" dia. punch with a concave angle cut out on one end. It is also probably 2" in dia on that end for extra surface area on the business end of the tool.
@@RedBeardsGarage I think that’s fair. I’ve used a few of the newer models. They aren’t bad tools, just not super refined or downsized like Dewalt and Milwaukee.
Yea, actually I would love to have a job working with you!!! I'm a hard working mechanic who loves to build custom tools and parts. I'm not the best fabricator just yet but that's things you can teach me as you like them done. Let's do this. Lol. But seriously.
Love your videos and I'm following this build closely as I'm working toward converting my electric EZGO RXV to gas. I was looking at using the DuroMax 420, but given that I'll be utilizing the existing rear diff that currently only has a 3.3kW (4.4 hp) electric motor paired to to, would the 16 hp DuroMax be overkill? I want more power than stock, but not ridiculously overkill...
I seen 2 of these for 500 each, one has doors and a truck box but they are 2 seaters I'd say they are in better shape we have no rust in az. Might just make one.
Man what has happened to you? I hope you are alright. Because your content has tanked. Been here for a long time. It's been fun but I have to go.. best wishes
She's a late video but its out! What do guys think about this build?
💯👍
Awesome Redbeard, love your builds brother.
That is cool , can't wait to see when it's finished

Redbeard appears to be losing weight and he's doing great on this build can't wait for test drive time great job as usual
30lbs so far. Hopefully a lot more lol.
@Red Beard's Garage that diet gravy just doesn't taste the same though 😂

Yeah I'm really curious as well. Hopefully she is quiet.
When we gonna get the first test run.
Buddy, you sure are a real fabricator. I wish i had half of the tools you've got there ! Really cant wait to see how this runs.
Sweet looking kart! 👍👍🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉🤘🏻🤘🏻

Love the channel but one request bring back the shenanigans 😂 always had a good laugh when yall were goofin
Cool build! Do the custom bed. Be cool to see what you can come up with.
You and me both brother 😂I wish it were mine to....sweet ride and would be great with a killer sound system
I ask him if he wanted a stereo and he said no. Then I said ok ill put one in it lol.
@@RedBeardsGarage 🤣🤣epic... beautiful again! Keep it up
Looks great God bless RBG
umm yeah, about that golf cart. IT'S PRETTY FREAKIN COOL!
Looks great

RED BEARD FAM yall got me grinnin like a possum eatin a sweet potato!
Lol never leave brother.
This is awesome and can't wait until the next video.
I'm really curious about that diff.
That thing is going to be awesome. Appreciate the scripture.
Thank you sir for supporting us!
You’re a mad genius
I just got that drill. Love it
I have the same Gem car. How can I get mine to you and what's the price ?
Now I want one 😂. I would probably do some sort of forward A-frames and a GSXR 600cc engine though lol.
Sick been waiting for a update it's going to be sick
damn good job bud, doing the same thing. got any video or dimensions on the engine cradle build?
That electric motor looks as about fun as pulling a engine out of a Canam. I guess it could be worse it could be a Argo
An internship with your channel would be dope if I wasn’t holdin down my dads fortune since his death. Keep up the great work man 💯

Top speed 60 km/h fingers crossed the reverse gearbox goes well then I can get one for my 16 hp golf cart
Pretty Neat Gem 👍☮️
Hercules picked the wrong fight. They should be targeting Ryobi or Kobalt.
I think some will have a chance but a lot wont hold up to it.

not looking for an internship, but i can hang out and drink beer while i criticize everything you’re doing. when can i start?
Are going to put the brackets for the reverse gear box on your web site
Great job as always 👏! Yes, God really loves us!
Hey what did you use for a rear differential/clutch set up? I’m building right now with a 83 Yamaha xz550 motorcycle motor on it
Two questions what length torque converter belt are you using? What kind of oil go's in the reverse gearbox?
Red beard you are allsome at your work 😮❤ master of trade right there for sure 😊👌👍🌟😃 from cruzermans inventions Tristan McNabb
Mine has a bad dc board wish I knew if you had one out of that one I could buy ?
Any long term report on durability of reverse gearbox?
How did you do the red beard face emoji ?? , I have been looking for something like that
❤😂she's a beast 🎉 allsome work guys from cruzermans inventions 🎉🦇👍👌😁
Next time you cut aluminum with a band saw try putting cheap blue masking tape down where your going to cut... makes a difference in cutting...
U could make that four wheel drive!
Awesome build - top speed 27mph guess
Do you know the part number for a Mobil 1 oil filter for this? Do you recommend any other quality filter?

one question can you add a link to the street legal mini bike charging system and flywheel please

no it will be fine i like the 459cc from harbour freight in stock form its great and with a cheap properly jeted motorcycle carb it gooddder ;]
@@overbuiltautomotive1299 Thanks for the reply!
@@venturebrowser yes you can us a lot bigger gas engines think electric is instant power from basicly 1rpm
So awesome
Any chance you have the stuff your tore out of it
FYI Just in case you didn't know. You can plasma cut aluminum.
How much do you charge for building a go kart from a gravedigger power wheel?
How did you bypass the rev limiter?
Thanks for the Bible verse brother!!!
I’m glad it was well received. Thank you for supporting!
To cool!
What'd the cost to do this roughly
Make a bed above the motor. I would like to see that.
Awesome build! 53 mph without knowing your gear ratio.
I have one been tryinh to find someoen
In ny to build mine
What's happening with the yz450 kart
It’s coming in next week
It would have been cool to see the front axle stay in yo make it 4wd
35mph stump puller

I like the GEM as an electric but the electrical system is a nightmare on them.
Don't know how fast it will go, but it should be called l'escargot, because it looks snail like.
That thing had 4 wheel steer that is cool seems completely unnecessary but cool
Oh that's the front alright
Those body and interior panels seem a bit flimsy. Top speed around 20-22.
Now I know what to do with all those electric cars
I seen 2 of these for 500 each, one has doors and a truck box but they are 2 seaters I'd say they are in better shape we have no rust in az. Might just make one.
They are worth a lot around here. I would defiantly get them if you can.
@@RedBeardsGarage will do thanks
How come he wanted a gas conversion on an electric build since he’s not going to be going very fast? Very impressive build though.
@@bradensmith888 oh, I see, thanks
Pro tip don't get old player. Lmao
I'm in my 40's and old as dirt
I probably made that cup lol
did i see a maxx in the background lol
48 mph
I think this is a honda killer.
Love the Bible verse
I’ll be an intern 😂😂
The Bible verse was a nice touch
Thank you sir. Been wanting to do them for a long time and thought now is a good of time than any. Thanks for watching!
I’ll send you a project?,,,, 2 if your interested
Those electric golf carts look dumb with how bubbly they look. I'd feel like whatserface with the glass shoe if rode that thing.
I think the stance with the new wheels will help it out a lot.

Whoop!
I am worried that the lift points won’t hold next thin is him adding 70 pounds of tires and wheels🫣
