If you're tech handy enough or an electronics guy like myself, you can just tap the line into the fuse panel itself. Its pretty easy to get to. I Had to do it already when I added the OEM Mopar bed lights for my 2022 ram 2500 6.7 Cummins. And that's the other crappy part about the 5th gens, everything is electronic now. Had to have the dealer flash ECM for the bed lights. Would have did it myself but I'm not about to kill a $80k truck flashing the ECM lmfao. But thanks for the Vid, was looking at changing out the stock mirrors to towing mirrors due full time RV life with 40FT trailer and will be needing them in the next 5 months. This will help a lot.

My truck has non tow mirrors. I may need to upgrade to your mirrors. If I buy your running light 2.0 and run the orange wire as shown, I will have running lights without adding the sales code? Adding the sales code only activates the blinker?

Green connector is for some different features that often aren't offered on the towing mirrors. It depends on the exact configuration of your original vehicle as well as the configuration of the mirrors you order.
@@boostautoparts what would the factory option be I only have manual fold powered mirror and defrost with blinker/ running light and puddle light. And it has all 3 connections I recently ordered mirrors and they only have 2 connections what would the green connection be used for?

Correct - sales codes are for blinker and puddle light only. If you're only concerned about running light all you need to do is run the orange wire.

@@loganward6844 The green connector houses the running light wire, so if you bought signal only mirrors it won't have the green connector.
