I've still got my first ever guitar that my mum bought me in 1989 a Ninja Nighthawk that's only got a humbucker pickup like EVH now , still feels great to play .
Nice video my friend. My forever guitars include an ancient Kay precision bass, Shaftesbury thinline Tele copy ( Gibson scale !) , Eko Ranger12 , Squire Danish Pete purple tele, sunburst baritone Tele, sunburst Gsharp mini guitar, Fender 8 string electric mandolin, Gordon Smith GS, Hofner shorty violin bass and far too many others .....😅😅😅
I've got two forever guitars. One, a strat played by my hero Eddie Van Halen. Two, a gift from my boss a Rg550 desert yellow reissue. Ps both retired now. Over 800 shows and two refrets each.
Which are my forever guitars?! All of them! That's what! The flying v, the Fazley SG, the Shine Telecaster, the BC Rich Warbeast, the Yamaha F310 acoustic. And many many more, I've got as much a sweet tooth for those axes like I have for Mint humbugs, squashies, chocolate raisins and most other sweets.
My forever guitars are quite eclectic. A Greg Bennett Avion Les Paul/Tele hybrid thing that I've whacked a Bigsby on and put some decent puppies in. I played it on my wedding day and with every band I've played in since I was 21 (21 years ago!). My Taylor 112e acoustic. It's all the acoustic I'll ever need. My Gibson 335 in cherry. Bought it with my inheritance after my dad died 11 years ago and my Aria 12 string acoustic. It's crap, but I love it! Bought it from a little guitar store in Kidderminster when I was a summer employ at the West Midlands Safari Park. Cheers Jonny, good video.
Great collection! I thought I had my "forever guitar" in my Gibson flying v. Well, it was stolen. I know have the blueberry burst 335 with the hotrod set of seymore duncans. I did that to my rosewood se prs also. Then, there's the 05 Squier strat standard . I re did that also. (I can't leave anything alone!)
Ooohhhh, stolen Flying V.....I bet you were as mad as he'll when that happened. I am getting more into mods. I have some nice solderless pups I want to use, but need to find the wiring for it.
Hi Jonny, you have some wonderful instruments. I'm not sure if I've actually seen the original of Joe Strummer's "Blackie" I had the good fortune to open up for The 101ers back in the mid 70s at Nottingham University. That night Joe was playing a sunburst Tele, so I'm not sure if that morphed into Blackie over time or was a completely different guitar. We were playing 60s rock covers and I thought we did a decent set and went down fine with the crowd but The 101ers came on next and blew the roof off the place.
Since you only got two hands to grab two guitars out of a burning house, you should stick to two forever guitars. In that case, I’d ditch the Epiphones ( after all there just Epiphones) and grab the BJA Fender Strat and the Gretsch.
We're going slightly off topic here but I saw a video of John (Lydon) it was post him leaving the Pistols but pre Pil, wearing a top hat and walking round London in a top hat with a blonde lady.....never seen him so nice and polite, was very strange.
Fazley Plus Maverick. Superb . Also,I'm not a ham-fisted idiot who takes the pickup covers off😂😂😂😂😂🎉 Gibson 2014 SG Standard. I am buying a Fazley Outlaw Plus tmw which I will imagine will be also great.

Because of you Jonnie I have a Fazley Phynica the same as yours but Purple. Beware of drunken online shopping. No regrets.
That's a tidy squad of keepers ya got there Jonny! 😎👌
Particularly love that crunchy sound you got out the Gretsch 👌👌
You're welcome, Jonny 👍
I still intend to nick your Cash Converters guitar idea. Nice guitars, mate 😀
Go ahead mate. Cheers
The green jaguar jazzmaster type guitar on the wall is a nice one
The Fazley maverick plus. It is indeed

the double jet is tops.
I love that Strummer tribute guitar.
It was a 57 not 54 for Steve. Good collection. Cheers

Nice. I always wanted an EVH copy, but don't want a Chinese knock off
Great guitars, unique to you! Well done mate👍🏼🎸🤘🏼🎸

That was indeed Blackie
You've got some great guitars there Jonny.
Thanks mate. It's not all of the forever guitars, but as I said, I needed a video to put out while I wait for delivery of new guitars and gear.
Great video 👍
Thanks mate
I really like those Steve Jones / sex pistol tones you’re getting from your guitars. What effects /Amp are you using to achieve it?
I am using the SONICAKE MATRIBOX II PRO, on either VSX DIST 1, or PLEXI RHYTHM settings
@@BudgetGuitarShow thanks, that sounds great
Nice Gretsch
Cheers
I subscribed to your Chanel .
Thanks

@shanewalton8888 the BJA isn't actually a Fender. It's a parts build from budget guitars. The white lp has Gibson T Tops pick ups and is 70s spec.

That's Janet street Porter. From the London Weekend Show, "Year Of The Punk", broadcast I. 1978.
Gretsch has a non standard Humbucker tone.
Fazley Plus Maverick. Superb . Also,I'm not a ham-fisted idiot who takes the pickup covers off😂😂😂😂😂🎉
