Thanks for sharing all these details. As a DELE preparator teacher, I think this is so useful and many students don't know this because they don't prepare the exam well. Also, congrats on pointing out that stress is gonna be present and you need to deal with it (that's why you were being distracted by the noise). If candidates can handle these sort of emotions they can fail despite of having the level.
Thank you! And omg you’re totally right! I didn’t realize that I might have been distracted because of the stress cuz I wasn’t feeling it that strongly when I did the test!
Great video! I want to take C1 in Nov 2022, even though I test at B1.5 at the moment! I will need to work so hard this year but I feel I can just about manage it if I really put the effort in! PS I would love to learn more about your Spanish learning journey!
Thank you!!! Yessss!!! Signing up for a Dele exam will really push you to work harder in Spanish! I’ll share more about my Spanish learning journey cuz now I feel like my Spanish is far from the level that I wanna achieve😂😂😂 Merry Christmas!!
Thank you! I would LOVE that! There just isn’t much content from DELE students compared to Other language exams like TOPIK. I’m excited about getting ready for the exam, I’m already sentence mining lots of phrases about social media and trolling from El País 😂
Hiiiii!! (I’m Lauren btw) My other channel crashed and I can’t use it anymore so that’s why my original comments aren’t being shown anymore 😔 and I’m so sorry that I haven’t been commenting lately. Schools been busy with my own exams 🤗🤗I just got 2 new budgies too!! One is named Lumi (Finnish for snow I think) and the other is Key Lime, shown on my profile picture. Sunshine is doing amazing, along with Cottonball, Master Wu, and Pastel. So now I have 6 birdies 🥰🥰 It might be a while before I take this exam, but it is info that I will use, thank you so much for these tips!! Amazing structure and video as always mi amiga!! 😁😁
Also, how are you? Are you doing well? I found it hilarious when you explained the distracting sounds, especially the pill crushing 😂 I’m really sorry you had that experience though, I know how frustrating it can be.
I’m going to do my Exam on July. I have a very big problem with the speaking part when i get nervous. Any suggestion about your personal experience like how did you start the convo?
Truth is I don’t quite remember what I said, but it was super super small talk. My examiner was actually pretty serious. I tried to ease the mood by commenting maybe the weather or something, but she didn’t seem to be interested in making the mood light. So I just went straight to the question and I did it with a smile. However her reaction is, I DO ME😂 I tried to make the answers clear and fun(if I could), or at least answer it in a vivid communicative way, I think at least that makes the whole convo more natural
Hi, thank you for a great video about this. I am going to take the B2 Dele exam on July 1st this year, and it is great to hear a bit about your actual experiences with this. I'm going to take the exam at Gran Canaria, so I will go there one week before the exam. You mentioned that the oral exam could be on another day than the written exam. Can it very long before the written exam, or at top one day before? I also wonder when you got the results of your oral exam. Do you get that shortly after you have taken that part of the exam, or will it first come with the results of the written part of exam?
Heyyyy, well the oral test is either on the same day as the written exam, or one day before or after the written exam, it wouldn’t go several days before or after it. And about two weeks before the exam, you’re gonna receive an exam from the exam center about the exact time of your oral test. The result came out altogether 2-3 months after the exam👀👀👀 good luck with the exammmmm!!!
@@CeciliaCao I received the message a week before, and I had my oral exam the day before the written exam :) I think that I passed, but will not know untill September :)
I’m thrilled to hear that!!! Thanks for giving me the update! Normally if you have a good feeling about it, you DO pass! Let’s wait and see in September if you pass with flying colors🌝
@@CeciliaCao Hi, I just got my exam results on my B2-DELE exam, and I passed :) I just wanted you to know :) I'm super happy that I passed on my first attempt :)
Sorrrrry I just saw your comment! I think the most important thing is to try to read a piece of article each day and do some intensive listening training each day, which can be only 2-3 minutes, but try to find of the word that you fail to understand while listening and see if that’s a problem of vocabulary or listening skills. This is for general improvement. For the exam I think you gotta do one mock exam each week when the exam is closer and practice writing under limited time. Better prepare a little writing template that you can use for most topics and practice that template more or less with mock exams😙hope it helpssssssss and good luckkkkkkkk

Nice explanation, thank you hence the music seems kind of loud & interrupts the understanding
Yeah quite some people have mentioned the bg music issue🙂↕️I’m minimizing the use of bg music in these talk videos now😂

3:00 If you're interested, a person who monitors the students during a test is called a "proctor"
Ohhhhh great!!! I had no clue what that’s called! Thank youuuu!
Omg same. I'm going to take it 2x.
Omg really??? You mean you’ve encountered similar situations in the exam room??😮
@@CeciliaCao oh no lol, I'm taking the test in a week for practice then again next year 😅 thanks for the tips.
Hahahaahhahah hey you might as well pass this time!
