Honestly, MID, this is your kind of movie: a huge amount of satirical comedy that doesn’t hesitate to leave illogical moments, here and there. You should see Angelina’s take on this because she loved every second of it. I’m still amazed that you, Angelina and Billy have a podcast together because you guy as a trio, that is a wild ride, all by itself. If you’re gonna see more Dreamworks movies, I highly recommended Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron because this is by far the most underrated masterpiece of all time for us Gen Z kids. Till next time.

Love how they intentionally make Galaxar's backstory incomprehensible. DreamWorks been giving middle fingers to villain redemption arcs even before Puss in Boots: the Last Wish.

Each of the monsters were based on famous monsters from like the 50s.
Ginormica is a reference to Attack of the 50 Foot Woman (1958), B.O.B. is a reference to The Blob (1958), The Missing Link is a reference to Creature from the Black Lagoon (1954), Dr. Cockroach Ph. D. is a reference to The Fly (1958), and Insectosaurus is a reference to Mothra from Mosura (1961).

This movie came out the year me and my sister were born. I was kinda sad the Susan didn’t end up with Derek, as a kid. But now I’m Glad.😅 3:39 Fun Fact I had Platinum blonde hair when I was born. 8:38 The entire pilot for the first episode of the series for this movie.

There was a few channels that did that if I’m not mistaken.
My favorite Dreamworks movies in order: Spirit Stallion of Cimarron, Prince of Egypt, HTTYD, Rise of the Guardians. As for the live action, i love Real Steel, War Horse, and the Prize winner of Defiance Ohio. Not sure if youve seen any of those.
This film is definitely odd but its unique and the humor is well done. As you noted the design like the noses questionable but it makes it stand out.

The character animators were flexing so hard on that movie, they breathed so much life into the characters and made me connect with them that I forgot I was watching horses.😍

Definitely one of my top five favorite DreamWorks movies alongside Shrek, Puss in Boots 2, Madagascar 2 and Kung Fu Panda. Susan was one of my childhood crushes.

The studio's very first movie, "Antz" (1998) really set the template for just about every film that followed, the main trademark being incredibly stacked casts. My personal favorites that you haven't viewed yet include "Over The Hedge" (2006), "Flushed Away" (2006), "Turbo" (2013), "Mr. Peabody & Sherman" (2024) and "Abominable" (2019). Looking forward to watching you watching them.

This is one of DreamWorks' best films in my opinion. I love all the nods/tropes to classic sci-fi movies and shows jammed pack in this one silly film. I'm also really appreciating how empowering Susan is and her character growth (pun not intended).

It's not one of DreamWorks best, but it is a fun film with good characters, stunning animation, and great humor. That coffee screaming lady will never fail to make me laugh.

This is actually a pretty funny and underrated Dreamworks movie. They got a lot of great celebrities like Reese Witherspoon, Seth Rogen, Will Arnett, just to name a few. Also, the nuclear missile button joke is kinda my favorite scene.
