And that sends a bad message to the kids. They think if they’re hair it’s like his hair that they have bad hair. And it will mess up their self a steam.
I have thick curly hair & the texture is silky. I'm confused if its 3c or 4a tho. My hair grows out straight until about a half inch, then it starts curling. My waves look best when my hair is around 1 1/2 to 2 inches. When I'm waving I cut with a 2 or 2.5 WTG. I mostly keep it curly bc I'm lazy with the brushing 😂 I can get my waves back in a few hours tho.

Also remember bro someone can have 2 or 3 types in their head. Sometimes a person can have 4c hair in the back near the crown area and 4a or 3c in the front. At the end of the day we have to figure out what works for us. Which I guess porosity will help the most. I learned my hair because I rocked the curly from for damn near 3 years. The Wave game has fabricated their own definition of hair texture as a way to help categorize straight hair wavers. EDIT: Once straight hair wavers popped up on the scene, seems everyone must have been thrown for a loop. They call straight hair a texture.... but when they take a picture to this "texture" Its usually of someone with wavy hair and not straight hair lol. They don't really know jack squat about straight hair. Everyone can definitely get waves though. Man, I'm new to this but I was motivated to do my research from the jump. Been waving for 9 months 1 week now. Still a Freshman waver out here.
